VIDEO: Hwy 41 Rollover Injury Crash Lands Inches From Home

SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – One person was transported to an area hospital following a rollover crash that sent the vehicle off the roadway, up an embankment, through a fence, and over a parked vehicle, the vehicle landing just feet from the front door of an adjacent home on Hwy 41 S. MAP

The crash occurred on Hwy 41 near Courtland Rd, the first call coming into 911 at 5:23 pm Tuesday night. The vehicle stopped just inches from an American flag in the front yard of a home, somehow narrowly missing it.

With the skill of a surgeon, the Reiselman Buick tow operator shimmied the vehicle out of the yard without causing any damage to the home or the American Flag. The vehicle however will likely be classified as a total loss.

According to officials at the scene, one person was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Why the vehicle left the roadway is still under investigation by the Springfield Police Department. Drugs and or alcohol did not appear to be a factor in the crash and no one was taken into custody.

According to one official at the scene, it was a miracle that no one else was injured as the vehicle traveled through a yard, over a parked car, and into an adjacent yard. If more information becomes available we will bring it to you.

The Springfield Fire Department, Robertson County EMS, and the Robertson County Emergency Management Agency all responded to the scene.
