WHH High Beta Club Members Qualify For Nationals After Victories At State

WHITE HOUSE TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) –National Beta members from White House Heritage High School are celebrating their recent participation and victories in the Senior Beta State Convention.

They were announced as winners of the following competitions:

• Charlee Scott 1st Place in Recyclable Art Division I
• Darcy Duncan 1st Place in Mixed Media Division II
• Edith Gonzalez 2nd Place Painting Division II
• Sam Asmus 4th Place Fiber Arts Division II
• Savannah Robertson 4th Place Black & White Photography Div. I
• Aubrey Staggs 4th Place Digital Art Division I

The National Beta State Convention allows students the opportunity to compete in various academic and STEM-based, virtual, and performing arts competitions. The State Convention was offered as a hybrid event. This gave students the opportunity to compete either virtually or onsite at Opryland Hotel Convention Center depending on their level of comfort.

These victories at the state level provide an opportunity to compete at the national level. The National Convention will be held in Savannah, Georgia in the Summer 2024.
