White House High Football Coach/Teacher Charged
with Statutory Rape & Exploitation of Student
WHITE HOUSE TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – According to the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office, On February 2nd, 2022, it was reported to the White House High School Administration that a football coach/teacher at White House High School was having an inappropriate, sexual relationship with a 17-year-old female student attending White House High School.
Sumner County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation into the alleged incident. It is alleged that the 26-year-old coach/teacher, Christopher Gunnar Scholato, met up with the student, away from campus where the two had sexual intercourse on at least two occasions in December of 2021. According to a news press release from the Sumner County Sheriff’s office, the victim is a cheerleader at the school and Christopher Gunnar Sholato was the victim’s Senior Project Supervisor at White House High School.
Additionally, it is alleged that Christopher Gunnar Scholato asked for nude pictures from the victim and sent unsolicited, sexually explicit pictures of himself to the victim.
Based on their investigation, the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office presented to case to the Grand Jury. The Grand Jury found probable cause in the case to charge Christopher Gunnar Scholato:
• 1 Count of Exploitation of a Minor by Electronic Means
• 1 Count of Solicitation of a Minor – Sexual Activity
• 4 Counts of Statutory Rape by an Authority Figure
