19 Pounds of Meth Seized in Cedar Hill Raid

ROBERTSON COUNTY TENNESSEE (Smokey Barn News) – A Cedar Hill man has been arrested after authorities seized 19 pounds of methamphetamine during a drug investigation, according to the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office.

On April 25, 2025, the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the ATF, executed a search warrant at a residence on Fykes Grove Road in Cedar Hill. During the search, investigators discovered and seized approximately 19 pounds of methamphetamine.

The primary suspect, 61-year-old Thomas Clinard of Cedar Hill, was arrested at the scene and is currently being held at the Robertson County Detention Facility. He is facing the following charges:

• Possession of Methamphetamine with the Intent to Sell – No Bond
• Conspiracy to Sell Methamphetamine – No Bond

“This is 19 pounds of methamphetamine that was taken off our streets of Robertson County. The street value of this amount of drugs is approximately $400,000 which is a significant disruption to illegal drug distribution in this area. Illegal drugs will not be tolerated in our community. Our families deserve the peace to live in a community that is free from these illegal activities, and I am proud of the hard work of our Sheriff’s Office team and the working relationship with the other law enforcement agencies to make this happen,” stated Sheriff Michael Van Dyke.
