WHITE HOUSE TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – A footfall player was injured Friday evening at White House Heritage High school during a game. We do not know if it was a White House Heritage player or a player from the visiting team, the Sycamore War Eagles.
“A 16 year old male was transported by EMS to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville after an injury sustained during the football game last evening. The condition appeared serious at the time of transport,” according to Robertson County EMS Assistant Director Russell Gupton.
The call came into 911 around 9:30 p.m. Though LifeFlight was put on standby, officials at the scene made the decision not to airlift the injured player which can sometimes mean the injury is less severe but at the moment we have no further information on the condition of the young man.
Robertson County EMS, the White House Fire Department and Robertson County Sheriff’s Office all responded to the call.
