Greenbrier Woman Survives Knife Attack, Suspect On The Run

BREAKING: Greenbrier Stabbing Suspect In Custody.

Jeffery Daniel Stewart, 39, of Nashville. wanted on multiple charges, including Attempted First Degree Murder, Especially Aggravated Burglary, and Aggravated Assault for assaulting a woman in Greenbriar was taken into custody in Clarksville without incident moments ago.

GREENBRIER TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – On Sunday Robertson County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a home on Logan Rd. in Greenbrier in regards to a 911 call about a stabbing. MAP

When Deputies arrived they found a woman with “serious bodily injury” sustained during an apparent attack. Detectives say that during the alleged attack the woman had been stabbed in the neck.

The woman was transported to a Nashville hospital and is currently listed in stable condition after having emergency surgery.

The Sheriff’s Office has identified a suspect in the alleged attack, he is identified as Jeffery Daniel Stewart, 39, of Nashville. Stewart is wanted on multiple charges, including Attempted First Degree Murder, Especially Aggravated Burglary, and Aggravated Assault in the case.

Stewart was last seen driving a 2005 Ford Focus station wagon, pale green in color similar to the one pictured (TN Tag- V52-67L).

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Stewart should be considered extremely dangerous and advise that citizens do not approach him. The Sheriff’s Office added that the suspect and the victim knew each other, the attack was not random.
