Julia was born March 16th, 1954, in Warren, Pennsylvania, and spent her childhood moving around with her mother, Betty Sue Lyle. Eventually, they settled in Clarksville, Tennessee, with her adopted father, Clyde Henderson.
Julia graduated from Clarksville High School in 1971 and went on to Austin Peay State University to begin her journey as an educator, eventually earning a Master’s in Special Education. She lived in Greenbrier, Tennessee, and retired from the Robertson County School system after years of service at Greenbrier Middle School and teaching the RISE Program for the Elementary Schools in the county. After retirement, she went on to H&R Block to do seasonal tax services in Springfield, Tennessee.
More than anything, Julia loved her family. She shared her love for travel and creative arts with them any chance she could, leaving them with memories and skills they will cherish forever. Julia could create anything, from beautiful works of stained glass to crocheting blankets for the holidays. She also loved reading and would read aloud to any of the kids who would sit long enough to listen.
Julia is preceded in death by her mother and father, Betty Sue and Clyde Henderson, her brother Mike Riggins, all from Clarksville, Tennessee, and Bob Hillier from Garden City, Michigan. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Phil Fradiska, from Cumberland, Maryland; her daughters, Andrea Hillier-Stevenson and Allison Anderson, from Greenbrier, Tennessee; and her sons, Eric and Vincent Hillier, from Evansville, Indiana. Her four grandchildren: Devin, Drew, Coby, and Abel Stevenson; her great-grandchild, Tate Stevenson, from Greenbrier, Tennessee; multiple nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews; and finally, her platonic life partner/best friend, Darrell Anderson.

Danny Gene Carr
October 21, 1956 ~ January 10, 2025 (age 68)
Danny Gene Carr, 68, of Cumberland Furnace, passed away on Friday January 10, 2025, at his home. In honor of his wishes, his remains will be cremated and no services are scheduled.
Danny was born October 21, 1956, in Russellville, Kentucky, to the late Charles and Lucy Holder Carr. He was retired from the Maintenance department of Seay Oil Company. Danny enjoyed tractor pulls, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law: Rayburn “Skattin” Bugg.
Danny is survived by his daughter Wendy Bugg (Dean) O’Bryan of Cumberland Furnace, by his granddaughter: Alyssa (David Eden) Bugg of Adams, by his great grandchildren: Oaklyn White and Oden Eden, by the mother of his daughter: Gail Clymer of Adams, by his brothers: Dudley Carr of Russellville, KY, James (Pam) Carr of Saddlersville, Jimmy (Donna) Carr of Crafton, KY, C.W. Martha “FaFa” (Harmon) Woodham
November 27, 1943 ~ January 10, 2025 (age 81)
Martha Dell “FaFa” Woodham, 81, of Greenbrier, passed from this life on Friday January 10, 2025, at NHC Healthcare Center in Hendersonville. Funeral services were conducted Friday January 17th at 11:00 a.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Dr. Jason Wilkerson and Reverend Rita Hays officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Anthony Speer, Jordan Mills, Tyler Fugate, Ross Pendergrass, Tyler Pendergrass, Nick Davies, Michael Finch, and Luke Myer serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
FaFa was born November 27, 1943, in Wynne, Arkansas to the late Leonard and Belle Holbert Harmon. She taught school in Arkansas for many years, and then retired from Austin and Allen as an employment recruiter. FaFa was a member of Greenbrier United Methodist Church, where she was the founder of the church group JOY (Just Older Youth), and she was a member of the Eastern Star. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking, she loved painting pictures, was a great schoolteacher that influenced the lives of her students, and she loved her church. Above all, FaFa loved spending time with her family and with her friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: William Sherman Woodham, and by her sister: Amy Jo Chamblee. FaFa is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Jeff and Amy Woodham of Memphis, by her daughter and son-in-law: Wendy and Doug Speer of Greenbrier, by her grandchildren: Nick Woodham, Chelsea (Eric) Harper, Jessica Speer, and Anthony (Brittany) Speer, by her 8 great grandchildren, by her brother and sister-in-law: David and Donna Harmon of Canton, TX, by her twin sister and brother-in-law: Mary and George Owens of Wynne, AR, and by a host of nieces, nephews, and family members.

Gail “Peach” Hargett
October 9, 1966 ~ January 12, 2025 (age 58)
Gail “Peach” Hargett, 58, of Cedar Hill, passed away on Sunday January 12, 2025, at her home. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted Monday January 20th at 3:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Tim Harris officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Gail was born October 9, 1966, in Owensboro, KY. She worked in Quality Control Management at Electrolux for over 37 years and was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. Gail enjoyed cooking, gardening, raising her chickens, being at church when she could, and was an avid reader. Her favorite pastime was being a GiGi to her grandchildren and to many other kids, and spending time with her family and friends, especially having cookouts. Gail was preceded in death by her sister: Heather LeAnn Warden and by her niece: Kelsey Washington.
Gail is survived by her husband: Mark Hargett of Cedar Hill, by her daughter: Tori Lynn Peach Reyes of Nashville, by her son: Bryan Austin Peach of Cedar Hill, by her stepdaughters: Samantha Hargett of Cedar Hill and Jessica Hargett of Clarksville, by her parents: Rickey and Janice Warden of Lewisburg, KY, by her sister and brother-in-law: Darla and Mitchell Jackson of Cedar Hill, by her grandchildren: Avery Lynn Reyes and William Ryan Reyes, and by her niece: Justyce Warden of Lewisburg, KY.

Jim Weller
October 1, 1937 ~ January 13, 2025 (age 87)
James “Jim” Weller, 87, of Greenbrier, passed away on Monday January 13, 2025, at his home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday January 18th at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Hendersonville with Father Thomas Kalam as Celebrant. Interment will be at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at St. Michael’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Cedar Hill with Jonathan Weller, Jason Weller, Walter Hackney, Buddy Dowlen, Jim Weller, and Scott Roberts serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Dowlen and his great nephew: Johnny Hackney. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Robertson County Funeral Home. There will be no visitation on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass.
Jim was born October 1, 1937, in Woodbridge, NJ, to the late Stanley and Sophia Schmidt Weller. He was a graduate of Woodbridge High School, where he was a member of the marching band. He went on to receive his pharmacist degree from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and was the owner and operator of Weller’s Pharmacy in Sayreville, NJ for many years. Jim was a communicant of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Hendersonville, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was a veteran of the U.S. Naval Air division. He loved gardening and was a Master Gardner, and he loved hunting and growing tomatoes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister: Marjorie Zambor.
Jim is survived by his wife of 47 years, Paula Sanders Weller of Greenbrier, by his son and daughter-in-law: James Thomas and Karen Weller of Maryland, by his daughter and son-in-law: Beth Ann and Henry Cordes of Hampton, NJ, by his grandchildren: Jonathan Weller, Jason Weller, Sierra Cordes, Henry Cordes, and Kaitlyn (Erich) Stiefel, by his great grandchild: Isabelle Stiefel, and by his bonus grandchildren: Madie Butler and Jesse Colonell.

Janet Sue (Blakeman) Baldwin

Janet Sue Baldwin, age 82, of Springfield, passed away on January 16, 2025, at her home. Her wishes are to be cremated, and her family will have a private burial service at a later date.
Mrs. Baldwin was born on May 12, 1942, in Lynwood, CA, to the late Twiford Dale Blakeman, Sr. and Emma Jayne Barber Blakeman. She was a homemaker who loved cooking and playing cards with her family. She was also talented in crocheting and sewing. She was a woman of great faith and loved her family dearly.
Mrs. Baldwin is preceded in death by her husband; Johnny M. Baldwin, and by her brother; Twiford Dale Blakeman, Jr. She is survived by her daughters; Debra Grant of Springfield, TN, Laura (Curtis) Lee of Macon, GA, Wyvonne Garnica of Gainesboro, TN, Sarah (Jason) Bassett of Naples, FL, and Rebecca (Wes) Steele of Springfield, TN, by her son; Johnny D. “JD” Baldwin of Gainesboro, TN, by her sister; Diane Kathleen Blakeman of Springfield, and by twenty-two grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Robert “Coop” Gupton
April 7, 1938 ~ January 16, 2025 (age 86)
Robert Clifton “Coop” Gupton, 86, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday January 16, 2025, at TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center. Funeral services were conducted Sunday January 19th at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Reverend Nathan Barnes officiating. Interment will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.
Coop was born April 7, 1938, in Henrietta, to the late Lloyd Huron and Effie Louise Ellis Gupton. He was a graduate of Cheatham County High School. Coop worked in sales for many years and retired first from Keebler and then from the Springfield Auto Zone. He was a member of Mt. Denson Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where he had formally served as a church elder. Coop enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Nelle Fyke Gupton, and by his siblings: Joe Gupton, Carl Gupton, Huron Gupton, Willard Gupton, Sydney Gupton, Geneva Evans, and Nancy Bosley. Coop is survived by his son: Andy Gupton of Springfield.

Randy Williamson
March 10, 1934 ~ January 16, 2025 (age 90)
Randall D. “Randy” Williamson, 90, of Springfield, passed from this life on Thursday January 16, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, January 21st at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Steve Sorrells, Kat Mercer, and Tim Harris officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenbrier Cemetery with Tommy Williamson, Todd Williamson, Josh Williamson, Justin Williamson, McKenzie Williamson, Tyler Williamson, and Barry Pendergrass, serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Everett and Cora Ann Williamson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Randy was born March 10, 1934, in the Love Hollow community of Macon County. He was a graduate of the Macon County High School Class of 1952, where he was a proud Tiger! In High School, he was a three sport Letterman, the recipient of the Babe Ruth Sportsmanship Award and voted Most Popular of his class. In later years, Randy was honorably inducted into the Macon County Sports Hall of Fame. He served his Country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Germany. Randy played both basketball and baseball for the U.S. Army and he coached baseball during his service time. He always had a great love for sports and was noted for playing in the Independent Baseball league for Dupont and the Nashville Vol’s Minor League team. He was a former coach for Shoetiques and Twitty City Baseball leagues in Nashville. He worked as a professional baseball scout for the Florida Marlins and the Cincinnati Reds, where he served alongside his son Tim. In 1968, Randy was chairman of the Lion’s Club when he secured a recreational loan and became a founding member and the first President of the Greenbrier Recreational Club (now known as Oak Hills Golf Course). He strived to bring youth sports and activities to his community and was named the first Commissioner of the Greenbrier Youth Association. Randy always had a heart to serve and was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Robertson County Credit Union, from 1995 until his retirement in 2015. He loved the game of golf and served for many years as the Director of Gallery Control for the BellSouth Senior Golf Classic. Randy worked for Ford Glass for over 37 years and retired as the Manager of Production Control. After his retirement, he proudly delivered prescriptions for Greenbrier Pharmacy to assist his son and daughter-in-law. Randy dearly loved his family and friends, and always enjoyed spending time with them. He spent many hours watching any and all kinds of sports.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives: Joan Williamson and Carole Williamson, by his son: Timothy “Tim” Williamson, by his brother: Reggie Williamson, and by his sisters: Audra Cothron and Vauda Cothron. Randy is survived by his sons: Thomas “Tommy” Williamson and wife Tammie of Greenbrier, Todd Williamson and wife Misty of Springfield, by his seven grandchildren, his two great grandchildren, and his devoted caregiver, Kat Smiley Mercer.

All contributions will go to assist with the expense of the school golf teams’ use of facilities at the Legacy Golf Course, where Randy lived and spent many hours watching them play hole #12. Skyler Dawn Moore

Skyler Dawn Moore, born on December 17, 1993, has left an indelible mark on the hearts of who were fortunate enough to know her. Skyler passed away on January 8, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and care that will be cherished by her family and friends.
Skyler was known for her caring nature, always taking the time to ensure that everyone around her felt loved and supported. She held a special bond with her sister, Madison Childress, often taking on a motherly role, showcasing her nurturing spirit and dedication to those she loved. Her personality was as vibrant as her smile; she was often the loudest person in the room, making her presence felt and filling spaces with joy and laughter. Skyler’s ability to light up a room and make herself known reflected her passion for life and her desire to connect with others.
A devoted spouse to Ley Austin, Skyler found immense pride and joy in her role as a mother to her children, Mary Beth and Waylon. They were her proudest accomplishments, and her love for them was evident in everything she did. Skyler’s affection extended beyond her immediate family; she is fondly remembered by her grandmother, Vicki Moore, and is survived by her beloved nieces and nephews, Nyxx, Maya, and Daemon; and her aunt, Tracy Lidy.
Skyler had a deep appreciation for animals, especially horses, which illustrated her kind-hearted nature and the love she held for all living beings. Her passion for these majestic creatures was a testament to her nurturing spirit and her desire to bring joy to the lives of those around her.
Skyler is predeceased by her mother, Mary Beth Moore, whose legacy of love and compassion lived on through her daughter. Although Skyler’s life was cut short, the memories she created and the love she shared will continue to resonate within the hearts of family and friends. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever be a source of inspiration for those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Obituary for Robert William Harwood
Robert William Harwood, age 70 of White House went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly Monday, January 13, 2025 at his home. He was born March 27, 1954 in Springfield, Massachusetts to Robert and Delores Jean Thomas Harwood. He was the owner and operator, along with his wife, of Bob and Rhonda’s Sports Grill, worked as a lead man at Astro Procraft for many years, where they manufactured fiberglass boats and was a member of Cornerstone Nashville.
He enjoyed playing guitar and bass guitar, as well as videotaping The Gathering Praise Team at Cornerstone Church. He loved listening to Rock and gospel music, fishing and playing pool. He was a Christian and loved the Lord with all of his heart. He enjoyed spending time with his church family, his wife and daughter, his son-in-law and grandkids and all of his friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Harwood; mother and step-father,, Jean Thomas (Charles) Christian. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Rhonda Biggs Harwood; daughter, Heather (Michael) Elmore, both of White House, TN; brothers, Mark (Laurene) Harwood, OH, Greg (Pat) Harwood, Nashville, TN and James Harwood, Bethpage, TN; sisters, Denise Stacey, FL and Lisa Lippa, CA; 2 grandchildren, Brody Elmore and Ava Elmore.

Roger Dale Holt, age 78 of Clarksville, Tennessee died Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Park Meadows Post Acute in Clarksville.
Funeral services were conducted at 1 o’clock pm, Friday, January 17th at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View with Bro. Gene Brown officiating.
Burial will follow at Sango Cemetery with Wayne Yates, T.C. Murff, Shawn Goff, Tim Lincoln, Johnny Head, and Jim Bryant serving as pallbearers. Braden Holt will serve as a honorary pallbearer.
The family received friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 16th from 4:00-8:00PM, and again on Friday beginning at 10:00AM until the hour of service at 1:00PM.
Mr. Holt was born on March 14, 1946 in Montgomery County, Tennessee to the late Roy Roger & Johnnie Mitchell Holt. He was a U.S Army veteran serving in the Vietnam war and retired from State Industries. He competed in buck dancing and square dancing and was the leader of the State Stove High Steppers. Mr. Holt was a member of Stroudsville Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Mitchell and Preston Holt; and sister, Patsy Mai Holt.
He is survived by his children, Pam (Jim) Mason, Lisa Dale Gossett, and Jeff (Kelly) Holt; sister, Brenda Gayle (John) Holt; grandchildren, Veronica Paige Mason and Braden Holt; and companion, Judy Ledbetter.

Martha Milom
February 5, 1941 – January 15, 2025
Martha Elizabeth Milom, age 83, of Chapmansboro, Tennessee passed away, Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Hillcrest Healthcare Center.
Her remains will be cremated and a graveside service will be conducted at 11 o’clock am, Saturday, February 1st, in Bethel Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Ashland City with Bro. Terry Forrest officiating.
Mrs. Milom was born on February 5, 1941, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Robert & Ada Owens Appleton. She was retired as the owner and operator of Milom Printing Company. She enjoyed reading thousands of books, visiting Walmart, feeding birds, and taking care of her roses. She was involved in the Cheatham County Historical Society and sung in the choir at Bethel Free Will Baptist Church where she was a longtime member and will be dearly missed by the community.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Milom; and sister, Mildred.
She is survived by her sons, Kenneth (Patty) Milom and Scott (Sharon) Milom; grandchildren, Jeremy Milom, Skylar Threadgill, Kayla (Tyler) Muniz, Kirsten Harvey-Milom, Amber (Marco) Moyers, Stephanie (Ben) Clark; and 12 great-grandchildren.

David Raley
September 9, 1981 – January 8, 2025
David Lynn Raley, age 43, born on September 9, 1981, in Henderson, Kentucky, passed away on January 8, 2025, at his home in Arvada, Colorado. David is survived by his wife, Kasey (Stapler) Raley; his beloved daughter, Layla Raley; and his parents, Jeff and Linda (Dunkel) Raley.
Earning his B.S. in Sales and Marketing at University of Southern Indiana, David was an avid reader and Notre Dame sports fan. He also loved camping and fishing. David never met a stranger. His big heart and boundless generosity left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.
A memorial service to celebrate David’s life were held on Saturday, January, 18, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Austin & Bell Funeral Home, 6316 Highway 41A, Pleasant View, Tennessee. Visitation with the family will be from 11:00 AM until the hour of service at 1:00 PM.
David Raley will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
