Obituary for Winston Durrett Randolph

Winston Durrett Randolph was born on February 7, 1928, “the same year as Mickey Mouse” as he often reminded his grandchildren. He died on Saturday February 26, 2022, at the age of 94, surrounded by his family. He grew up in Springfield, Tennessee, the son of Robert Taylor Randolph and Lela Ellen Durrett Randolph. He graduated, with honors, from Springfield High School in 1945 and then attended the University of Tennessee at Martin where he met the love of his life, Betty Frances Old. They married on August 31, 1947 and were inseparable for the next 75 years. He served for four years in the Tennessee National Guard. Winston returned to Springfield in 1948 and joined the family business, Sprouse Brothers Hardware. He was a founding member of the Robertson County Optimist Club and served in a district leadership role. He helped found the Little League program in Springfield and served as a deacon and Sunday School teacher at Springfield Baptist Church for many years. He also served in various capacities with the Covington Heights Mission, where he taught Sunday School, drove the bus, coached a boxing team, and supported the food bank. He retired from Sprouse Brothers Ace Hardware in 1990 and moved to Florida where he and Betty lived for 16 years. Winston enjoyed traveling of all kinds, most especially in his motor home with friends, gardening, fishing, estate sales, and assisting his wife with her antique shows. In 2006, Betty and Winston moved back to middle Tennessee to be near their family. They built a new home and remained active traveling and keeping up with their grandchildren and great grandchildren. His family and friends will always remember Pops for his sharp wit, mischievous smile, tall tales, and infectious laugh.

Winston is survived by his beloved wife, Betty Randolph, his son Trent (Constance) Randolph, his daughter Patricia (Conrad) Rogers, as well as seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

floral squareGraveside services will be conducted Tuesday March 1st at 3:30 p.m. in the Elmwood Cemetery in Springfield with Brother David Woodard officiating. Pallbearers will be Scott Gray, Brian Purvis, Jeffrey Smith, Ronnie Clouse, Alan Coile, and Dan Samiljan. The family will receive friends at the graveside service on Tuesday.

Obituary for Margaret Clark

Margaret Simmons Clark, 92 of Springfield, TN went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 27, 2022, from Hopkins Center in Woodburn, KY.

A Robertson County, TN native, she was born July 11, 1929, to her parents the late Duke and Lela Covington Simmons. She was a retired loan officer in Springfield, TN, where she worked for 40 years with Security Federal Savings and Loans and Regions Bank. She was a faithful member of Oakland Baptist Church where she served as a children’s Sunday school teacher for 40 years.

Teaching her Sunday School class and serving her church were one of her passions after her retirement. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life. She was also an avid gardener. She loved to grow a variety of cutting flowers and provide arrangements for her church, most grown from seed. Strangers also stopped at her house to ask for cuttings or extra plants. She managed the Oakland Cemetery Fund for many years, after taking over from her late husband, Harold Clark.

She was married to the late Harold Ellis Clark, who passed in 1989. She is also proceeded in death by her brothers: Wilburn (Doye) and Bryce Simmons, her sisters: Dorothy Benningfield (Claude) and Peggy Rainwater (Gerald), and her sister-in-law Nancy Cobb Castell (Tom).

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; Jimmy and Kathy Clark, her daughter and son-in-law; Laura and Gene Feckter, granddaughters; Rachel Dotson (Chris), Ashley Clark, and Carly Brown (Justin), grandsons; Clark Feckter and Ryan Feckter, great grandson; Hudson Brown, brother-in-law; George (Jeanette) Clark and several beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

Obituary for Lydia Norwood

Lydia Jo Haulum Norwood, age 71, of Springfield and life-long resident of Memphis, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022 at NorthCrest Medical Center. Mrs. Norwood’s remains will be cremated and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park in Millington, TN at a later date.

Mrs. Norwood was born November 19, 1950 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Ralph Henry and Jo Lewis Lawrence Haulum. She enjoyed Harley motorcycles, dancing and music, sewing and crafting, animals of all kinds, especially her dogs and birds. She liked African Violets, tiny boxes, and shopping on Amazon. She was a survivor, was always ready with a story or a joke for everything, even if it was inappropriate. She was known for her big laugh that came easily and often. She loved her girls, but loved their husbands just a little bit more, she was a proud “GiGi” to her grandson, Lukas, and she was sassy and stubborn and full of life.

Mrs. Norwood is survived by her husband of 29 years, Roy Lee Norwood; daughters and sons-in-law, Shawn and Darik Smallwood and Kelly Jo and Jake Carlton; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Violet Haulum; sisters and brothers-in-law, Fran and Billy Sparks, floral squareJulia Haulum, and Mary Ellen Carroll; and grandson, Lukas Carlton.

Obituary for Nelson Escobar Ramirez

Nelson Eleazar Escobar Ramirez, age 41, of Pleasant View, passed away Friday, February 25, 2022 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, March 4, 2022 at 5pm in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Father Anthony Lopez as Celebrant.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10am until the hour of service at 5pm. Mr. Ramirez remains will be cremated following the funeral service.

Mr. Ramirez was born August 6, 1980 in Mexico to the late Victorino Escobar Paredes and Mrs. Cesilia Ramirez Roblero. He floral squareworked as a welder. He was a kind and loving father, devoted husband, and dear friend.

Terry Lynn Biggs, age 66, of Springfield, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 1pm in the Battle Creek Cemetery with Pastor Curtis Hester officiating.

No visitation will be held prior to the graveside service.

Mr. Biggs was born May 6, 1955 in Springfield to the late Ben L. and Mable Allen Biggs. He was a good, Christian man, visiting several floral squaredifferent churches over his lifetime.

In addition to his parents Mr. Biggs is preceded in death by his brother, Herman Biggs. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Evelyn Biggs; and his nephew, Benjamin Biggs.

Kenneth Lee Hodges Hand, age 65, of Coopertown, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at The Waters of Robertson in Springfield.

Mr. Hand was born April 23, 1956 in Springfield to the late J.C. and Lucille Hodges Hand.

Obituary for Trellie “TR” Reid Sledge

Trellie Reid “TR” Sledge went home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 22, 2022 at the age of 94. Mr. Sledge was born in Pontotoc County, Mississippi in 1927 to Romer and Maisy McGregor Sledge. After serving his country in the United States Army as a medic/nurse in WWII, TR returned home in June of 1945 and married his sweetheart Bobbie Nell Morris. They moved to the Mississippi delta town of Clarksdale and raised four daughters. During that time Mr. Sledge worked as an engineer for the Wonder Bread Bakery. He was employed by Wonder Bread for 40 years and became chief engineer for the company. After retirement, TR and Bobbie Nell moved back to Pontotoc County.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Nell Sledge, his parents, Romer and Maisy Sledge, his brother, Orien Sledge and his sister, Margie Sue Sledge Metts. He is survived by his four daughters, Glenda Saenz (Bert) of Houston, TX; Trellie Ann Goss (Billy), Beverly Johnson (Mark), all of Ridgetop, TN and Valerie Griffin (Jerry) of White House, TN. He is survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Taylor was born November 5, 1956 in Springfield to the late G.W. and Mary Corinne Diddle Taylor, Jr. He worked as a farmer and was a member of the Adairville Church of Christ. He enjoyed trucks, farming and his music and he loved his family and friends.

Walter “Lynn” Hardaway, age 63, of Keysburg, passed away Monday, February 21, 2022 at his home.

Funeral services was held Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 1pm in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Brother Sam Anderson officiating. Burial followed in the Lee Family Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Visitation was held at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 from 4-8pm and again on Thursday from 11am until the hour of service at 1pm.

Mr. Hardaway was born September 24, 1958 in Springfield to the late Walter G. and Kathleen Newberry Hardaway. He worked as a truck driver all his life but was a cowboy above all else. He was also a member of the Victory Free Will Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents Mr. Hardaway is preceded in death by his sister, Susan Hardaway Trimbly. He is survived by his partner in life, Becky L. Daniels; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Vickie Hardaway, Steve and Lori Hardaway and Frank and Michelle Hardaway; step-daughters, Lynn (Ronnie) Choate and Connie Byard; grandchildren, Allan Stickrod, Brandon Stickrod, Kristin Ward, Ashley Choate and Mike Choate; and great-grandchildren, Bobby Ward, Hunter Ward, and Faith Ward.

Obituary for Margaret Virginia Savely

Margaret Virginia Savely, age 83 of Greenbrier, Tennessee died Saturday February 19, 2022, at the Waters of Robertson.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday February 23, 2022, at 1 pm in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Bro. Jon Briggs officiating. Burial will follow in Greenbrier Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3 pm until 7 pm and again on Wednesday beginning at 10 am until the time of service.

Mrs. Savely was born April 4, 1938, in Robertson County, Tennessee to the late James W. and Riller Pulley Jones. Her husband, Lee Roy Savely, and sisters Myrtle Frances Eden, Kathleen Eden and Marjorie R. Jones also preceded her death. Margaret was a charter member of the Lights Chapel Baptist Church and was a retired cafeteria worker for the Robertson County Board of Education. She grew up in Adams by the Red River, attending the Bell School and graduated from Jo Byrns High School. Margaret love sewing, crocheting, cooking and especially her cats.

Obituary for Jeffrey L. Pofahl

Jeffrey L. Pofahl, age 43 of Ridgetop, passed away on February 17, 2022 at his home.

He was born Jeffrey Lee Pofahl on October 3, 1978 in Madison, TN to Dale and Judy Pofahl the youngest of their two boys. Jeff was an avid baseball player growing up and a 1996 graduate of Greenbrier High School. He passed his love of all thing’s sports related to his sons, Taylor and Caleb. Jeff drove his boys all over Middle Tennessee for baseball, soccer, football and basketball games. He was so proud of the accomplishments they have made over the years. When they weren’t racing or at ballgames you could find Jeff spending time in the shop, grilling, or at a Nashville Predators game with family and friends along with working hard at Bath Fitters.

floral squareJeff was introduced to the world of Drag Racing from the early age of 8, when longtime family friend Jason Dickens would take him to the track. Along with his dad, Jeff continued a family tradition of weekends spent at the track and rebuilding cars. Some of his favorite racetracks were Music City and Beechbend Raceway and his favorite cars were 1982 Malibu wagon and Vega wagon. Many of the memories the family shared was of a very kind man that loved his family and friends.

Jeff is survived by his sons, Taylor Pofahl and Caleb Pofahl; parents, Dale and Judy Pofahl and brother, Brian Pofahl.

A Life Celebration was held on Monday, February 21 at 2pm with Brother Morris Watson officiating. Burial followed at Springfield Memorial Gardens with Michael Richter, Jason Dickens, Todd Phillips, Jimmy Anderson, Kory Anderson, Austin Boone, Erik Henderson, and Blayne Henderson serving as pallbearers and Nick Rives, Sam Anderson Dylan Richter and Michala Richter serving as honorary pallbearers.  IN THE NEWS

Obituary for Dorothy Marie Thomas

Dorothy Marie Thomas age 97 of Springfield passed away on February 13, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Dorothy was born on November 13, 1924 in Springfield, TN and married her best friend on January 21, 1939, Mr. Raymond Dudley Thomas. She adored her husband Dudley and they were a testimony to a Christ-centered marriage where Christ being in first-place in the home, then your spouse, then children, following by all others.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Mrs. Dorothy loved sharing time with her family and friends and was known to be a very fun loving and spunky lady. She loved cooking for her family at every opportunity and made the most amazing feast for special holiday’s. Her grandchildren have found memories of visiting Granny and her making them “a pound of bacon and a gallon of sweet tea” at a moment’s notice.

Mrs. Dorothy loved gardening, especially creating a multitude of flower gardens each year up. She was a very precise and detail-oriented seamstress and loved sewing clothing for her daughters and herself. She loved to make quilts and was a masterful home-maker and home decorator. She took great pride in keeping a sparkling clean and well-organized home stocked with canned foods. She was tireless and a hard-worker. Mrs. Dorothy was a wealth of knowledge to her family and friends and they loved to hear all of her amazing stories from days gone by.

She was a devoted Christian of the Baptist faith with a firm faith and adoration for her savior, Christ Jesus. Her personal bible alone is a testimony of her faith and prayers from over the years. She deeply trusted and relied on Jesus for all of her strength, care and needs and that as well of her family and friends whom she prayed for each day.

Mrs Dorothy is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Dudley Thomas, her son Jimmy Thomas, and daughter Peggie Thomas Huddleston.

She is survived by her daughter Gail Thomas (formerly Bolton) of Greenbrier, her sons Terry (Judye) Thomas of Ridgetop, and Ricky Thomas of Nashville; her son-in-law Tommy Huddleston of Gallatin, and daughter-in-law Diane Taylor Thomas of Greenbrier. Grandchildren Matthew (Brittney) Bolton, Andrew (Jenni) Bolton, Michael (Dana) Bolton, Dustin Thomas, Nikki (Dane) Little, Tammy (Buzz) Graves, Karen (Ben) Huddleston Phillips, Bo (Tammy) Huddleston, Joshua Thomas, Lindsay Thomas, Chris (Kimberly) Thomas, Laura (Joshua) Kelly, and a host of great and great-great grandchildren, as well as her special and devoted friend Carole Buck who

helped to take such good care of her over the years to help her be able to continue to live in her own home and honorary grandsons, Brian Graves and Stephen Hudak.

Sara Rhiannon Smith White, 34, of Springfield, passed from this life on Wednesday February 16, 2022, at her home.

Her remains were cremated and no services are scheduled at this time.

Sara was born October 20, 1987, in Nashville. She enjoyed making picture collages, writing, and playing interior decorating games. The highlight of her life was collecting anything that involved pig’s, especially the many pig figurines that she had collected and displayed in her home.

Dottie Darlene Howell, age 68 of Springfield, TN died Tuesday February 15, 2022, at Tristar Northcrest.

A celebration of Life service will be Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 1 pm at the New Life Apostolic Church 4712 Clarksville Pike, Nashville, TN 37218.

Dottie was born November 9, 1953 in Marion, IN to the late Robert and Dorothy Miller Kidwell. Her brothers, Robert, Fred and Lester Kidwell also preceded her in death.

Obituary for Jose Guadalupe “Lupe” Angel Lopez

Jose Guadalupe “Lupe” Angel Lopez, 45, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday February 15, 2022, at TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center.

Funeral Mass was conducted Tuesday February 22nd at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Father Anthony Lopez as Celebrant. Interment followed in Springfield Memorial Gardens. The family received friends on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Robertson County Funeral Home and on Tuesday from 12:30 p.m. until service time at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Lupe was born in Mexico on July 22, 1976. He was a communicate of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Springfield. He was the owner and operator of El Vaquero Mexican Restaurant. Lupe enjoyed watching soccer and working in his yard. His love was cars, both old and new, of all makes and models.

Obituary for Garland Williams

Garland Williams, age 74 of White House, passed from this life on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 10:00 AM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Pastor Joshua Culver officiating. Burial followed in Springfield Memorial Gardens with D.J. Hunter, Jordan Hunter, Jerry Bohanon, Brian Williams, Tracey Poff, and Paco Sanchez serving as pallbearers. The family received friends at the funeral home Friday from 3 until 8 PM and Saturday from 8 AM until the hour of service.

Mr. Garland was born February 6, 1948 in Nashville to the late Garland and Virginia Crutcher Williams, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Ann Herman Williams; daughters, Teresa Norris and Tammy Cunningham; son, Paul Bohanon; brothers, Jerry Wayne and Danny Ray; and sisters, Barbara Brown and Sandra Clouse.

Mr. Williams’ pride and joy was his grandchildren. He loved riding his Harley and was a member of the Harley Davidson Hogs Rivergate Division and the White House Cruise In. He enjoyed spending time working on his antique cars, owning a 1955, 1956, and 1957 Chevys.

Obituary for Thomas “Tommy” Carter

Thomas “Tommy” Carter, age 62 of Madison and formerly of Cross Plains, passed from this life on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Centennial Medical Center.

Funeral services were conducted Friday, February 18, 2022 at 3:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. Clint Hopper officiating. The family received friends Friday from 12 PM until the hour of service.

Tommy was born July 29, 1959 in Cross Plains to the late Floyd Edward and Susie Young Carter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Donald Carter and Billy Carter; sister, Linda Carter; partner, Roger Dale Loftis; and his dog, Jack.

He was a member of Covenant of the Cross Church in Madison. He retired from Middle Tennessee Mental Health where he worked as a technician. He enjoyed hanging out with family and friends and floral squarechatting with them on the phone. He was a talker as the family said and loved going out to eat. He enjoyed listening to Tanya Tucker songs and treasured his late dog, Jack.

Mr. Carter is survived by his brother, Horace Wayne Carter of Coopertown, and sisters, Mary Ann White of Smyrna, Peggy Curtis of Smithville, and Lela Chowning of Greenbrier.

Obituary for Bobby Wayne Wooten

Bobby Wayne Wooten, age 84, of Gallatin, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022 at the Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.

A Memorial Service was conducted at 1pm Saturday, February 19, 2022 in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home, Springfield.

The family received friends from 11am until the time of service at the funeral home.

Mr. Wooten was born March 13, 1937 in Springfield to the late Marvin Gilbert Wooten and Lucille Fletcher Timmons. He was raised in Adams and went to Jo Byrns and played all sports and was recognized as one of the “Players of the Century” in basketball. He played football for the Austin Paye Governors and in 1959 he joined the Army and played football with the Screaming Eagles with the 101st Airborn. Mr. Wooten coached 3 years for the Babe Ruth Senior League in Springfield and also was an Assistant Coach at Springfield Jr. High under Coach Wayne Shoemaker for 2 years. He also owned many business throughout his life including B&P manufacturing and distributing company. He had a love for his family and friends and a passion for sports.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Wooten was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia A. Wooten; daughter, Stephanie R. Shaver; a son, Greg Wooten; and sisters, Elizabeth Thaxton, Shirley Reeves and Virgie Cogbill.

He is survived by daughters, Bobbie L. Wooten, Cindy (Jo) Guinn, Valerie (James) Ward, and Jheri Beth (Mike) Haseltine; son, Russell (Tina) Wooten; a brother, Marvin (Sharon) Wooten; 11 floral squaregrandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. He will also sadly be missed by Dwight Guinn, Hollie (Saul) Sadler, Dylan Guinn, Kaden Sadler, Bella Sadler, Tyler (Cierra) Lumsden, and John Luke Lumsden.

Obituary for John E. Burton Jr.

John Edward Burton, Jr, age 72 of Greenbrier, TN passed away Friday, February 18, 2022 at his residence.

The funeral service was held 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 24th at Calvary Baptist Church in Greenbrier with Bro. Donnie Bryant and Bro. Gary Dillard officiating.

Burial followed in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Tanner Harris, Hunter Harris, Asa Harris, Brandan Moss, Joe Taylor and Tod Stevenson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Randy Cavender, Ivan Bell, Jerry Taylor and Billy Burns. Visitation was 4pm to 8pm on Tuesday, Feb. 22nd at the funeral home, 12pm to 8 pm on Wednesday, Feb. 23rd at the funeral home and 1pm until time of service on Thursday, Feb. 24 at Calvary Baptist Church.

John was born in Detroit, MI on November 13, 1949 to the late Johnie Edward (Sr) and Thelma Harper Burton. He was also preceded in death by sister, Brenda Campbell and a brother, Dennis Burton.

He served in the US Army and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He loved his family first and foremost. He enjoyed his motorcycle, cars, woodworking, playing guitar and karaoke.

He is survived by his wife, Pam Matthews Burton of Greenbrier; sons, Trey (Tammy) Harris, Jason Harris, Morgan Harris all of Greenbrier; sisters, Deborah (Billy) Pyburn of Springfield, Angela (Sam) Madzia of Elmwood, TN; grandchildren, Tanner (Kaycee) Harris, Hunter Harris, Asa Harris, Brandan (Nicole) Moss, Miranda floral squareStewart; great-grandchildren, Grayson Harris, Raylan Moss and Ryleigh Anne Harris.

Lillie Ann Stuard. age 85, of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at NHC Springfield.

Graveside services were conducted at 11am Friday, February 18, 2022 in the Bellwood Cemetery in Adams with Bro. Jim Woodard officiating. Pallbearers were Wesley Grogan, Corbin Sweatt, Colton Sweatt, Brandon Gower, Gary Thompson and Ronald Paulus.

There was no visitation scheduled prior to the graveside service.

Mrs. Stuard was born November 16, 1936 in Cedar Hill, TN to the late George and Hattie James Thompson.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Stuard was preceded in death by her husband, Auther Gene Stuard.

Janis Elaine Williams Dailey, age 61 of Greenbrier passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at her residence.

The funeral service was at 1:30pm on Tuesday, February 22nd at Austin & Bell Funeral Home Greenbrier with Bro. Donnie Bryant and Bro. Jimmy Williams officiating. Burial followed in Spring Hill Cemetery in Madison, TN with Randy Williams, Brandon Williams, Michael Williams, Sammy Jackson, Donald Jackson and Steve Williams, Jr. serving as pallbearers.

The family received friends 4pm to 8pm on Monday, February 21st and 11am until 1:30pm on Tuesday, February 22nd at the funeral home.

Janis was born in Pittsburg, MA on March, 10, 1960 to the late Clarence Ray (Sr.) and Evelyn Kilpatrick Williams. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Randall Williams.

She was a Manager at Opryland Hotel and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Greenbrier.

Janis loved her family and church family very much and enjoyed yard sales, planting and growing flowers.

Obituary for Clifford Elwood “Woody” Harrell

“Woody” Age 66 of White House went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at the Residence of Alive Hospice. He was born July 29, 1955 in Tallahassee, FL to Clifford Minchew Harrell & Hadassah Stoutamire Harrell. Woody enjoyed running and was a sports enthusiast, especially favoring the Atlanta Braves and the Florida State Seminoles. He enjoyed watching Andy Griffith on television. He loved spending time with his friends and at his church, White House First United Methodist Church. He was known for calling friends on their birthdays, a church ministry that everyone enjoyed.

He is preceded in death by his father, Clifford Minchew Harrell; mother, Hadassah Stoutamire Bass Harrell; brother, Kirby Kenneth Bass. He is survived by his brothers, Harold Eugene (Gail) Bass, Tallahassee, FL and Maxwell Minchew (Phillis) Harrell, St. Simons Island, GA; sisters, Betty Koval, White House, TN and Joan Cox, Tallahassee, FL; many nieces and nephews.

Robert William “Robby” Ward, age 30, of Oak Grove, KY, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022.

Funeral services were held Monday, February 21, 2022 at 1pm in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield. Burial followed in the Elmwood Cemetery with James Alan Ward, Jr., DeCoda L. Ward, Michael Choate, Jesse Fisher, Jake Spicer and Ronnie Choate serving as pallbearers.

Visitation was held at the funeral home on Monday from 10am until the hour of service at 1pm.
