A Graveside Service was held Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 1pm in the Springfield Memorial Gardens. Family and friends served as pallbearers.

She was born in Riverdale, Georgia and spent her early childhood in and around the Atlanta area. She began her Christian life attending park Avenue Baptist Church in Atlanta.

She soon became the young wife of a Southern Baptist minister, then later became a mother of two little girls. Her life as a loving mother, homemaker and pastor’s wife was very full and rewarding. She was busy at home, school and very active in the church as a teacher, director, counselor, secretary and always assisted her husband where ever she was needed. She was truly chosen by God to serve and minister to others, never requiring fame or fortune. Her love and devotion will always be remembered.
