Obituary for Dorothy Frances Nixon Rader

Dorothy Frances Nixon Rader, 95, of Springfield, passed from this life on Thursday July 16, 2020 at Springfield Heights Assisted Living.

Memorial services will be conducted Saturday July 25th at 11:00 a.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Reverend Adam Hodges officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rader was born December 15, 1924 in Springfield to the late William Robert and Eula Bloodworth Nixon. She was a retired Office Administrator with Eastland Heights Baptist Church. Mrs. Rader, and her family, were charter members of Eastland Heights Baptist Church, where she was active in the WMU and taught Sunday School for many years. She loved working on her family history and genealogy and watching any type of westerns on TV.

floral squareIn addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Howard Earl Rader, and by her siblings and their spouses: Charles and Ann Bruce Nixon, Joe Nixon, and Jean Nixon Armstrong and James Armstrong. Mrs. Rader is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Dan and Fayrene Rader of Springfield, by her grandson: Beau Nixon Rader, and by her sister-in-law: Mary Nixon of Springfield.

Obituary for Jeffrey Holman Barbee

Jeffrey Holman Barbee, age 66, died on Wednesday July 15, 2020 at his home. He was born July 8, 1954 in Robertson County.

He is survived by his sister: Amelia Barbee Fletcher, and her husband Randy, of Springfield, by his niece: Allyn P. Faenza, and partner, Rachel Zisette of Brooklyn, NY, and by a host of friends. He is pre-deceased by his parents, Marjorie Holman and Harold Anderson Barbee, a brother: Gary Wayne, and his niece, Jenny Katherine Faenza.

A graveside service was held at historic Elmwood Cemetery in Springfield Saturday, July 18th at 10:00 a.m. The service was conducted by Johnnie Baldwin, Jr., pastor of Apostolic Faith Mission in Springfield, where Jeff was a charter member. Pallbearers will be David McCoy, T.J. Faenza, Matteo Fanza, Mark Cox, Jack Nixon, and C.L. Nixon. The family received friends at the graveside service.

A retired farmer, Jeff had a plethora of interests and hobbies including hunting, fishing, listening to music, keeping up his farm, and working on his classic car collection. His most recent hobby was watching a bald eagle that had decided to roost on his farm. He will be remembered by all as a loyal friend with an easy smile and funny chuckle. He was a member of Springfield High School, Class of 1972.

Such donations in the past have included Smile Train, an organization that helps children born with cleft lips and palates.

Mary E. Turner Blakemore

On July 13, 2020, the Lord called another one of his Angels home, Mary Elizabeth Turner Blakemore. Mary was born October 7, 1933 to the late Joe and Annie Patterson.

She was married to the late James H. Turner and the late Minister Nevel Blakemore.

Mary professed hope in Christ at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church and later joined Fairview Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithfully on the Mother’s Board.

She attended school in the Robertson County School System. Mary was employed at Jesse Holman Jones Hospital and NorthCrest Medical Center for over 30 years. She loved to cook, spending time with family and talking on the phone to her friends and family.
She is preceded in death by son, Randy Turner; daughter, Shirley Turner; brothers, James, Joe, and Robert Patterson; sisters, Annie Williams, Dorothy Coleman and Lula Mae Williams; grandsons, James “Boo” and Larry “Pootie” Turner. Mary leaves to cherish her memories: daughter, Leann Cross; sons, Perry (Joyce) Patterson, Larry Turner and James Ray Turner; stepdaughter, Helen (Marion) Lunsford; step-sons, Tommy (Annetra) Blakemore and Nevel (Joann) Blakemore Jr.; sisters, Louise (Mike) Holcomb and Peggy Young; brothers, Elmo Patterson; granddaughters, Denise Douglas, Bridgette Turner, Rocquesha (Keenan) Chatman and Terri (Jeffrey) Gaddy; grandsons, Marques (Jeanel) Johnson, Devon Turner, floral squareRanderickus Turner, Juwan Cross, Lamarion Turner and D’Angelo Patterson; fourteen great-grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; special friends, Joe and Cora Wells, Flossie Blakemore and Rose Page.

Arrangements for Robert D. Woodson

On July 18, 2020 the Lord called home another one of his faithful soldiers. Robert Dee Woodson, 83, of Springfield, Tennessee was born to the late Admire and Ethel Woodson on January 17, 1937. He is preceded in death by two brothers, and four sisters.

He married the love of his life Peggy on July 12, 1957 and they have four children, Steve (Vickie), Ilisa, Tony and Lynell (Johnny). He was self-employed for 40 years as a concrete finisher.
Robert Dee accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age and became a member of Beard’s Chapel Baptist Church. He was well known for his singing and playing the piano. He would often accompany Reverend Samuel H. Grider of Beard’s Chapel Baptist Church by singing “The Little Wooden Church Out on the Hill.” He sang in various groups throughout his lifetime. The first group was the Gospel 5 and there were various others. He founded the male chorus at Beard’s Chapel Baptist Church.

floral squareRobert Dee is survived by his spouse, Peggy Woodson; four children; five grandchildren, Corey Chatman, Latoya (Kelsie) Henning, Danielle (Myron) Walker, Ashley Woodson, and Jonel Gardner; One grandchild preceded him in death, Natalie Woodson; three step-grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; six step-great grandchildren; one step-great-great grandchild and one sister of Indianapolis Indiana along with a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral Service was Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at W. D. Crowder Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Taylor, Eulogy and interment was in Restlawn Memorial Garden.

Obituary for James “Bub” Powell

James “Bub” Meredith Powell, III, age 68, of Springfield, died peacefully at his home Sunday, July 19, 2020.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 11:30 am in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Marty Jacobus officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery with Jason Jacobus, Lucas Haley, Steve Haley, Perry Pratt, Allen Powell and Jeff Justice serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9:30am until the hour of service at 11:30am.

Mr. Powell was born June 12, 1952 in Nashville to the late Jim and Ruth Hudgens Powell. He was lovingly known as “Bub” to family and friends. He completed school at Oakland Bethlehem in Robertson County, rode with his dad to dairy farms across the county and for the last 20 years enthusiastically attended the Habilitation and Training Services (H.A.T.S.) workshops in Springfield. He was a member of New Chapel United Methodist Church and attended the Sunshine Class at Springfield First United Methodist Church. He grew up loving family get-togethers, country music, Coca-Cola, and later in life, Mondays, so he could go to the H.A.T.S. workshop!

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Jenny Powell Jacobus, grandparents, Annie Lou and James Powell, Mary and Milton Hudgens and many loving aunts and uncles.

Obituary for Mark Batchelor Stadlberger

Age 61 of Goodlettsville passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020 at his home. He was born May 30, 1959 in San Antonio, Texas to Walter and Gloria Joyce Batchelor Stadlberger, Jr. He worked as an aircraft mechanic for AirMed International. He enjoyed working on airplanes and he also rebuilt cars, especially muscle cars. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and listening to all kinds of music.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Walter Stadlberger, III; sister, Deborah Joyce Bair. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Patti Stadlberger, Goodlettsville, TN; son, Mark Stadlberger, Jr., Hampton, VA; daughter, Ashley (Chris) Songy, Goodlettsville, floral squareTN; 2 grandchildren, Kyle Songy and Elle Songy; many loving nieces and nephews.

There are no local visitation or services scheduled at this time.

Mr. Stadlberger’s ashes will be inurned at Rocky Hill Cemetery in Autaugaville, AL at a later date.

Obituary for Bill Shaw

William “Bill” George Shaw, age 90 of Pleasant View, Tennessee, died Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Brighton Gardens in Brentwood, Tennessee.

Funeral services were conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View, Tennessee at 11 o’clock am, on Monday, July 20th with Bro. Paul Edwards officiating. Burial followed at Pleasant View United Methodist Church Cemetery with his grandchildren and nephews serving as pallbearers.

The family received friends at the funeral home in Pleasant View, Sunday, July 19th from 5:30PM-8:00PM and again on Monday from 10AM until the hour of service at 11:00AM.

Mr. Shaw was born on September 15, 1929 in Ashland City, Tennessee to the late Thomas Earl, Sr. and Nancy Clark Shaw. He was a retired accountant for over 30 years. He was a U. S. Army veteran having served in the Korean War. Mr. Shaw was a lifetime member of Pleasant View United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Ramona Hamilton Shaw.

Obituary for Richard Cannon

James “Richard” Cannon, age 77 of Springfield passed away Friday, July 17, 2020 at Vanderbilt Medical Center.

The family received friends from 2pm to 4pm Sunday, July 19th and again 11am to 1pm Monday at the funeral home.

The funeral service was at 1pm on Monday with Bro. Kenneth Wayne Head and Bro. Jeff Smith officiating. Burial followed in Springfield Memorial Gardens.

He was born February 8, 1943 in Coopertown, TN to the late Robert and Myrtle Wilson Cannon. He was also preceded in death by a son, John Richard Cannon; brothers, Don Cannon, Jerry Cannon and sister, Ann Cannon Smith.

He was an educator for the Robertson County Board of Education. He loved playing and teaching guitar, hosted a local radio program and wrote and published books of poems.

floral squareHe is survived by his wife, Carole Brown Cannon; daughter, Terina Carol (Ron) Garrison; grandson, Dustin Fuller (Maggie) Garrison; great-grandchildren, Raylan Fuller Garrison and Landon Lee Garrison. He worked in management in the food industry until his retirement. Mr. Earle proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy in Korea. He also served as a volunteer fireman in Baldwinsville, NY He loved attending truck rodeos. One of his hobbies included racing go-carts. He also loved driving tractor trailers and snowmobiles.

He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Bob Earle and Charles Earle. He worked as an auto mechanic for Toyota. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and was a member of Metro Baptist Church. He was considered to be a very humble man by all who knew him, always willing to do for others. He was also known to be a very hard working man, honest and caring in everything he did.

Rosa Lee Dickey Garcia, age 82 of Pleasant View, Tennessee, died Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at her home.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 o’ clock pm on Thursday, July 16th at Friendship Free Will Baptist Church in Ashland City with Bro. Don Lamb, Bro. Cecil Boswell, and Bro. Dwayne James officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Barry Perry, Jeremiah Perry, Joshua Williams, Jonathan Williams, Jacob Williams, and Ben Butler serving as pallbearers. Her granddaughter, Chasity Perry served as honorary pallbearer. A meal was served after the burial at the church.

The family received friends at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View from 12:00PM until 7:00PM on Wednesday, July 15th, and again on Thursday, from 12 Noon until the hour of service at 2:00PM at the church.

Mrs. Garcia was born on June 27, 1938, in Rogersville, Alabama to the late Clarence and Lilly Holden Trousdale. She was a homemaker who loved her family, enjoyed socializing, and attending church at Friendship Free Will Baptist Church. She also loved to shop, shop, shop….

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, Freeman Dickey; ten brothers, the most recent, Johnson Trousdale; and two sisters.

She is survived by her husband, Alberto Garcia; daughters, Teresa (Barry) Perry, Selisa (Dan) Beeler, and Tammy Sergio; grandchildren, Jeremiah (Amanda) Perry, Chasity Perry, Joshua (Katie) Williams, Jonathan Williams, Jacob (Kate) Williams, and Benjamin (Kelly) Butler; and great-grandchildren, Bryson Perry, Madison Perry, Molly Williams, Lyndon Williams, Miles Williams, Violet Butler, George Douglas Butler, and Layla Williams.

Special thanks to Doctor Andrea Beck and her medical team, Doctor Borek, Doctor Johnston, and Doctor Reddy, heart surgeon, and many others with Centennial Heart Clinic. Each one had great medical skills, but above all, they showed tremendous compassion and love for Rosa. They all made a difference in our lives.

His Celebration of Life Service was at 11:00am on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Cornerstone Church Nashville, 726 W. Old Hickory Blvd. Madison, TN 37115. Interment will be in Beech Cemetery. Family and friends served as pallbearers.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations be made to Natasha Maxey for the Corey Maxey Memorial Fund c/o First Horizon Bank. Those funds will be used for the benefit of a scholarship fund for his children: Evan, LeAna and Lucas Maxey.

Memorial services were held at 1 pm on Thursday July 16, 2020 in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Tim Harris officiating. The family received friends at the funeral home from 11 am until the time of service at 1 pm on Thursday.

John was born July 25, 1939 in Robertson Co., TN to the late Willie and Emma Birdwell Owens. His daughter, Lisa Owens and grandchild, Candace Owens also preceded him in death. John was of the Baptist faith and was the owner of Precision Welding. He enjoyed working, truck pulling and especially loved his grandchildren.

Obituary for Herbert “Buddy” Broadrick Jr

“Buddy”-Age 88 of White House passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020 at his home. He was born March 31, 1932 in White House, TN to John Herbert & Drucilla Camplin Broadrick. He was retired from the Ford Glass Plant, where he worked as an assembly line worker. He loved mowing grass and eating with “The Liar’s Club”at Hardees and Bojangles.

Rev. Paul Calvin Hopson Sr. Passed away on July 12, 2020 at Skyline Medical Center.

The family will have a Memorial Service at a later date.

He was born March 16, 1943 in Auxier, KY to Ernest and Marie Webb Hopson.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Ernie and Larry Hopson both of Ada, OH and Kenny Hopson of Dunkirk, OH. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Janice Music Hopson of Springfield, TN, sons Paul (Jamesa) Calvin Hopson, Jr. of Adams, TN and Sean Hopson of Springfield and daughter, Rebekah Hopson of Nashville, TN, sister, Doris Hopson Curlis of Dunkirk, OH and brother, Melvin (Saundra) Hopson of Lima, OH, six grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Rev. Hopson felt called into the ministry in 1970 and after graduating from The Freewill Baptist Bible College in Nashville served faithfully as a pastor for nearly 50 years before retiring. He and his wife are currently members of New Hope Freewill Baptist Church where he served as a Sunday School teacher. For those that knew him, he was always armed with a good joke or story to make floral squareyou laugh, which he loved. He was most at home working with his hands in his yard or garden where he could grow most anything. His artistic eye allowed him to create a beautiful sanctuary in their backyard fit for the cover of any magazine. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and father-in-law. He loved his church family dearly and always felt it a privilege to pastor a flock.

Joseph “Mark” Sadler, age 69 of Hendersonville, passed away at his home on Saturday, July 11, 2020.

He was born on July 11, 1951, to Ray and Mary Starbuck Sadler, who precede him in death. Mark is survived by his wife of 19 years, Jackie; his stepchildren, Ronda (Mitch) Gibson and Victor (Lindsey) Reed; his sisters, Becky (Bill) MacMichael and Suzanne (Fred) Graham; his grandchildren, Lauren (Sean) Finn, Wesley (Jessie) Gibson, Will Reed and Grayson Reed; his niece, Rae Marisa (Rick) Andreano; and his nephews, Dr. Daniel Gatewood and James Graham.

Mark retired from The Paper’s/Wheels and Deals where he worked for 10 years. He was a University of Tennessee graduate and loved Vols football. He was a great athlete at Hillwood High School, lettering in football, basketball and was a SPO. He is a former Sunday teacher, Disciple Bible Study leader and a lay speaker. He loved God’s Word and was a great witness to others. He loved his family and our Lord Jesus Christ. He was a patient and kind man. He was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s three and half years ago but was taken by lung cancer only 21 days after being diagnosed, even though he wasn’t a smoker.

Joseph K. Summers, age 80 of Orlinda, died Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Skyline Medical Center.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 12:00 PM at Orlinda Baptist Church with Pastor Lance Wamble and Dr. Chris Holmes officiating. Burial followed in Orlinda Cemetery with Bill Adams, Jonathan Adams, Justin Blancett, J.C. Lyons, Jay Summers, and Jim Summers serving as pallbearers. The family received friends Friday at Milldale Chapel from 4 until 8 PM and Saturday at Orlinda Baptist Church from 10 AM until the hour of service.

Mr. Summers was born February 9, 1940 in Robertson County to the late James Claude and Lena Lee Stark Summers. He was a member of Orlinda Baptist Church, where he had served as a deacon, and was retired from Western Express. He enjoyed going to the Byrum Porter Senior Center and the breakfast club at the Orlinda General Store. He also enjoyed golfing and was an avid Vanderbilt fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Groves Summers, and a brother, J.C. Summers.

He is survived by his daughters, Rhonda (Bill) Adams of Murfreesboro, Yvonne Summers of Mt. Juliet, Yvette Lyons of Old Hickory, and Beth (Chris) Holmes of Owensboro, KY; sisters, Ann (Allen) Spears of Land O’ Lakes, FL, Bettye McMurtry of Greenbrier, and Patsy (Noel) Nauman of Coon Rapids, MN; grandchildren, Jonathan (Whitney) Adams, Katie (Justin) Blancett, Kyle (Krystina) Summers, Bailey Zimmerle, Karlee Lyons, J.C. Litichia Jane Lynch, 62, of Greenbrier, died Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at her home.

Funeral services were conducted Friday, July 10 at 1:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Carroll officiating. Internment followed in the Springfield Memorial Gardens with David Jones, Scott Knight, John Avrit, Gavin Ledbetter, Dylan Richter, Jr Suter, Chris Ledbetter, Jake Chi and Tristan Leopold serving as pallbearers. The family received friends on Thursday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and again on Friday from 11:00 am until the hour of service at 1:00 pm.

Mrs. Lynch was born on February 27, 1958 to the late Joe Mac and Jane Hornberger Broadrick. In addition to her parents she is proceeded in death by her daughter; Valerie Chi. Mrs. Lynch was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing. riding motorcycles, but most of all she loved being a mother and a grandmother.

Mr. Hutcherson was born September 11, 1948 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Coy Ray and Lillian Virginia Vaught Hutcherson. He was retired from J-Dak. He loved to fish and target practice, and loved western television shows. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ronald, Michael, and Daniel Hutcherson and a sister, Joyce Garrison.

He worked as a book binder for 35 years and then was employed as a Sumner County school bus driver for 21 years. Allen was an avid University of Alabama fan. He enjoyed watching sports, especially football and NASCAR. He was a member of Holiday Heights Baptist Church and the Men’s Sunday School class.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He worked as an insurance broker for over 40 years and was employed by Bankers Life & Casualty prior to starting his own firm. He was a 1966 graduate of the University of Tennessee, where he received a BA in Business and played football for the Vols. He was an avid UT football fan and enjoyed fishing. He was a member of Portland First Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Brenda Borders; step-son, Chris (Jennifer) Loftis, both of White House, TN; grandson, Zachary Loftis; brother, Dr. Robert (Sharon) Borders, Brentwood, TN; several nieces and nephews.

Mary Stephens Thomas, age 87, of Springfield, passed away Monday, July 6, 2020 at NorthCrest Medical Center.

Mrs. Thomas was born February 22, 1933 in Columbia, Kentucky to the late Rollin and Pearl Sharpe Stephens. She was a homemaker and attended North Springfield Baptist Church and Hopewell Baptist Church. She loved to exercise, decorating, and visiting friends, especially her life-long friend, Jean Cobb.

Obituary for William “Bill” Riley

William Boyd “Bill” Riley of Adams Tennessee passed away peacefully July 5th, 2020 with his loving wife and all four children by his side.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 10am in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Brother John Casey officiating. Burial followed in the Bellwood Cemetery with Abner Herndon, Lucas Haley, Jared Batson, Sam Lowe, Troy Pearson, Drew Miller, Wes Jones and Tyler Chowning serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Tyler Sneed, Ross Natividad, Jeff Haines, Blake McClard, Kody Rendleman and Eli Fleeman. Visitation was held Tuesday, July 7, 2020 from 4-8pm and again on Wednesday, from 9am until the hour of service at 10am.

Mr. Riley worked his entire career as a successful farmer in the Adams Tennessee area and though he had to scale back his physical efforts in recent years, he always kept up with the Riley Brothers farming activities by site visits and listening to radio communications.

Bill Riley served his family and community through his life in many ways. He was a good husband to his wife and good father to his children and through his Christian faith, strong work ethic, and top moral character, he provided the basis for his children’s successes in life and business. He was a member of the Port Royal United Methodist Church, previously served as treasurer of the Sadlersville United Methodist Church for 17 years, he was an active member in the development of NFO Grain Port, he served on the Robertson County Board of Education in the 1970’s and 80’s, he served as a member and director with the local Robertson County Farmers CO-OP, and many other community and career service opportunities. He served on the Robertson County Farm Bureau Board of Directors. Bill was even known to plow snow with his tractor from Adams to Keysburg, KY some winters to help people access the roads. He was born at home in Adams, TN on 12/12/1933, graduated from Jo Byrns High School in 1952, lived and worked in the Adams community for 8 decades and worked on his property until the day before his passing.

Mr. Riley was blessed with a great family comprised of his wife of 65 years, Joan Moss Riley, four children, Billy Joe (Laurie) Riley of Springfield TN, Randy (Lisa) Riley of Adams TN, Bobby Clay (Joanna) Riley of Adams TN, and Patsy Riley (Larry) Fleeman of Springfield, TN. He also has 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren with some living locally while others are in various areas of the country. Family members preceding Mr. Riley in death include his parents, William Bryant Riley and Letita Peden Riley, two favored aunts, Minnie Riley and Hattie Peden, twin sister, Wilma Jo Draper, and two older sisters, Ruth Evelyn Carter and Mary Elizabeth Irish.

floral squareThe family expresses its sincere appreciation to the staff at Skyline Hospital for their efforts in Bill’s care. They also appreciate all the prayers and support from family, friends, and extended church members from several area congregations. Thanks is also extended to the Austin and Bell Funeral Home staff and to John Casey for providing the funeral services.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Port Royal United Methodist Church. Any donations may be sent in c/o Austin & Bell.

Obituary for William Franklin Cargal

William Franklin Cargal, age 65, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2020.

Bill was a loving husband and father.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Martha Sue Cargal, and a brother, Warren Cargal.

He is survived by his wife of over 20 years, Phyllis “Bobbie” Cargal; son, Will Cargal; daughter, Flynn Cargal; brother, Matt (Ann) Cargal; sister, Connie Woolsey; sister-in-law, Kimberly Cahill; and several floral squarenieces and nephews also survive.

No services are planned at this time.

The family has entrusted services to Austin & Bell Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 104 Sanders Ferry Road, Hendersonville, TN.

Obituary for Bobby Earl Wooden

Bobby Earl Wooden, age 63, of Lebanon, TN passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020 at his residence.

There was a Life Celebration on Saturday, July 18th from 1 to 3pm at Austin & Bell Funeral Home Greenbrier.

Mr. Wooden was born November 1, 1956 in Springfield, TN to the late Willie Floyce and Hattie Lou England Wooden. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Donnie Wooden and nephew, Adam Ross Wooden.

He is survived by daughters, Natasha Wooden of Pleasant View, Tabitha Wooden of Springfield; brother, Ronnie Wooden of Greenbrier; grandchildren, Brayden Morgan, Tyler Cook, Timothy Harper, Jr. and great-grandchild, Kenslee Cook.

Obituary for Durand Lee Warren

Age 26 of Greenbrier passed away Friday, July 3, 2020 in Springfield, TN. He was born October 28, 1993 in Hendersonville, TN to William Lee and Kimberley Smith Warren.

He worked as a machine operator for Stansell Electric. Durand enjoyed tennis, 4-wheeling, playing guitar and listening to music. He was a 2012 graduate of White House Heritage High School.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Lanny Smith; paternal grandfather, Pete Warren. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Kimberley (Greg) Arnett, Greenbrier, TN; father and step-mother, William Lee (Sandra) Warren, Mount Juliet, TN; mother of his children, Katelyn Warren; sons, Gibson Warren and Cayden Warren, all of Springfield, TN; maternal grandmother, Linda (Johnny) Smith, White House, TN; paternal grandmother, Margie Warren, Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Lyndi Gregory, Greenbrier, TN; step-brothers, Austin Jones and Logan Jones, both of Mount Juliet, TN; step-sisters, Lauren Gregory, California and Destiny Jones, Mount Juliet, TN.

floral squareFuneral services were held Thursday, July 9, 2020 at 3:30PM in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House with Pastor Ashley Mofield officiating and with Devin Wright, Nick Stafford, Anthony Senft, Jarrett Reed, Dillon Hardaway, Ruben Ruvalcava, Logan Jones and Austin Jones serving as pallbearers. A private family burial was held later at Owens Chapel Cemetery in Springfield, TN. Visitation was Thursday, July 9, 2020 12:00PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
