Jo Byrns High School Football Field Vandalized

ADAMS TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Friday night Jo Byrns High School was once again the victim of vandalism after someone drove a vehicle onto the football field and did donuts causing significant damage to the field.
Officials estimate it will cost more than a $1,000 to make the repairs. School officials told Smokey Barn News that they feel confident that the field will be ready by next
Friday when Jo Byrns is set to face East Robertson High.
Robertson County Schools released the following statement regarding the vandalism Saturday morning.
“On Friday night, someone caused significant damage to the Jo Byrns High School football field with a vehicle. The vandalism is being investigated by the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office and those responsible for the damages will be held accountable when they are identified.” Mike Davis Director Robertson County Schools
The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that they are investigating the incident and they are asking anyone with information regarding this crime to call the Robertson County Dispatch Center at 615-384-4911.
This is the third act of vandalism at Jo Byrns High School in recent years. Back in 2012 the school was vandalized with graffiti MORE and then early the next year the school was peppered with bullet holes while the school was empty. MORE
UPDATE 2:50pm Saturday: According to Robertson County Sheriff’s Office PIO Ryan Martin, two juveniles have confessed to the vandalism and they have been cited.
