The City of Springfield’s Winter Wonderland creates lasting memories as hundreds experience the captivating display of thousands of lights and more than a dozen holiday scenes.

Every year, friends and neighbors join to celebrate Winter Wonderland. Last year the tradition continued with over 38,000 visitors attending drive through and walkable experiences. Admission is free and open to the public.

10:00 AM – The Christmas Parade will start at South Commerce Street, turn right onto Kinney’s Road, turn right down South Church Street (In front of Post Office), Turn right onto Highway 41 N, Turn left in front of Bell School.

The parade will end at the Omer Gene Brooksher Pavilion.

December 7: FREE Yulefest event in Goodlettsville, TN by the Historic Mansker’s Station and Visit Goodlettsville

Location: 705 Caldwell Drive, Goodlettsville, TN, United States, Tennessee 37072

This free event will take place on Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at the Goodlettsville Visitor’s Center and Historic Mansker’s Station. Overflow parking will be available inside Moss-Wright Park.

Yulefest kicks off the holiday season with musicians, storytellers, and demonstrators in the cabins of the fort and in the historic home. Visitors can take their time listening to the sounds of yesteryear as they tour the sites and take in the beauty of simple, natural decorations, refreshments and unique shopping at the gift shop.

Celebrate the holiday season in Downtown Springfield at the annual night-time Christmas parade! Parade floats will be adorned with bright, twinkling lights and decorations that showcase community spirit and holiday cheer.

If you’re looking for a fun and festive way to get into the holiday spirit, this parade is not to be missed. Bring your family and friends along for a night of wonder as you watch the brightly lit floats pass by with the sounds of jingle bells ringing through the streets. You might even catch a glimpse of Santa himself!

Date: December 7, 2024.

Time: 5:30 p.m.

Location: Downtown Springfield.

Fee: Free admission.

Participant Information:
The lighted Christmas Parade provides businesses, schools, bands, and organizations the opportunity to showcase their community spirit and holiday joy by preparing a float or driving in a decorated vehicle.

The entry to participate is one (1) new, unwrapped toy per ten (10) float participants. Collected toys will benefit Kiwanis for Kids.

Registration for the Springfield Christmas Parade is available online through November 24.

Parade Route:
Participants will travel up to 1.5 miles. The parade will begin at the intersection of 10th Avenue and South Main Street. The parade will continue north and turn left onto 5th Avenue. Participants will turn right onto Connell Street, where the parade will end.

“We are trying to get 100 wreaths for Veterans at Bellwood Cemetery in Adams, TN. A ceremony will be held on December 14 at 11:00 to lay these wreaths. We hope we are able to get each Veteran a wreath with the help of friends and local residents. The deadline to purchase is December 3. Order Online! Please purchase at least one if you are able.
