Local Schools Join Friday National School Walkout

ROBERTSON COUNTY TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Smokey Barn News has confirmed with local officials that students from three Robertson County Schools participated in a national walk-out to remember victims of school shootings.

The date, April 20, was chosen because it marks the anniversary of the shooting at Columbine High School in 1999.

According to officials, students from White House Heritage, Greenbrier High, and East Robertson participated with a brief and respectful gathering. Afterward, the students went back to class, officials said.

According to several national news agencies, students across the nation participated in the walk-out. MORE
