Low-Income Home Energy Assistance, How To Apply

ROBERTSON COUNTY/SURROUNDING COUNTIES TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Mid-Cumberland Community Action Agency (MCCAA) is accepting applications for the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) in Cheatham, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Trousdale, Williamson, and Wilson Counties.

Qualified applicants may be eligible to receive a one-time payment on their home energy bill. The new program year began October 1, 2020.

Interested applicants should contact their local outreach office for assistance or call 615-742-1113 to have an application mailed to you.
Applicants must return applications either in person at their local outreach office or via mail to:

Below is a list of required documentation to be submitted with applications:

• Photo ID for head of household
• Social Security cards for all household members
• Proof of all household income for last 30 days (paystubs, social security benefit letters, etc.)
• 12 month printout from energy provider
