Copper Vault In Springfield Opens Today (Exclusive Sneak Peek)
SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – After three years designing, restoring and building, the beautiful Copper Vault in Springfield will be opening it’s doors Thursday morning. The grand opening starts at 9:a.m. today.
According to restaurant co-owner (America’s Next Top Model 2008 winner) supermodel Whitney Forrester, Springfield will have a new venue for fine dining at “affordable prices” featuring a large menu selection with everything from New Orleans Broiled Oysters to Bulleit Bourbon Salmon, and premium Hand-cut Steaks. After dinner you’ll be able to enjoy a full coffee bar, ice cream shop, live music and an outdoor grotto, all cocooned in a beautiful historic building wedged in across from the historic Robertson County Courthouse.
Whitney will operate as the GM and her husband Ian will be the head chef. The building is owned by Jon Pennington who took on the job of bringing the old building back to life after discovering it by chance several years ago. The plan was to bring all the great architecture the building had back to life and fill it up with great food.
Smokey first brought you the news about the new restaurant back in 2013 when rare antique Frank Lloyd Wright glass ‘Prism’ tiles were discovered in the windows of historic Springfield building. MORE
Even as they were putting on the final touches, Smokey was invited in on Wednesday for an exclusive sneak peek at the beautiful building.
Be sure to go on by today for a look at this incredible building and get yourself a fresh cup of espresso. MAP
