Second Crash Near Coopertown Sends One To Skyline
CEDAR HILL/COOPERTOWN TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – A Robertson County Man is recovering at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville after his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.
The crash occurred on Maxey Rd near Coopertown around 8:30am Thursday morning. (location of crash) The driver, a 27 year old male from Robertson County, was transported via ground to Skyline “for treatment of potentially serious injuries,” according to Robertson County EMS Assistant Director Russell Gupton.
According to Captain Trey Nelms with the Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department, the driver had to be extricated from the passenger side of the vehicle due to heavy driver-side and front damage.
As far as a cause of the crash, the Tennessee Highway Patrol is in charge on the investigation. As more information becomes available we will bring it to you.
This is one of two serious crashes in the Coopertown area today. Just before 11:am this morning one person lost their life and another was seriously injured in a crash on Old Coopertown Rd near Martins Rd. The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. FULL STORY
