Springfield Twice Daily Robbed Early Sunday
SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Around 3:30a.m. Sunday morning a man entered the Twice Daily Gas Station located on Tom Austin Hwy in Springfield, approached the register, said he had a gun and demanded money. (Location of robbery)
Detective Charles Consiglio with the Springfield Police Department told Smokey Barn News that, other than the video of the robbery, he was able to recover some physical evidence at the scene.
Police say the suspect stayed in the store for more than 10 minutes before walking up to the register and demanding money.
Police used a K-9 unit to track the suspect which lead them to a near by parking lot before losing the scent.
The suspect is described as a young white male wearing khaki pants, salmon pink t-shirt, a white ball cap and a white bandanna. During the robbery the bandanna fell down exposing the suspects face.
The suspect escaped with an undisclosed amount of money.
