Springfield Woman Robbed At Gunpoint Monday
SPRINGFIELD TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Around 4:30 pm Monday afternoon, a man walked up to a woman in a parking lot off 8th Ave in Springfield, displayed a silver handgun, and demanded money.
Police say, during the violent encounter, the suspect, now identified as Calvin Lee, 21, of Springfield, allegedly said: “If you scream, I’ll kill you.”
The incident occurred at a shopping center located at 208 8th Ave East. MAP
The victim complied and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash. When apprehended, the suspect will be charged with Aggravated Robbery.
Police say that Lee should be considered armed and dangerous and may be in a blue Ford Contour.
