UPDATE: The gentleman has been rescued and declined medical treatment.
Lahr Rd Springfield. The Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department and Robertson County Emergency Management Agency are engaged in the rescue going on now. No injuries were reported.
Home on Bethlehem Road.
SCHOOL CLOSURES
Important Notice: Robertson County Schools, including daycare facilities, will be closed on Thursday due to inclement weather conditions. HOME DAMAGED BY STORM
Home on Ridge Rd, about 1/4 mile from off Maxey Rd. No injuries were reported. Tress down across the county.
POWER OUTAGES
Despite the strong winds generated by the storm, the electrical grid is holding up remarkably well. Presently, about 800 individuals are experiencing power outages. Restoration efforts are underway, with crews diligently working to address the issue and restore power. If you are without power be sure to conserve energy. Please be VERY careful with candles or any other combustion devices like gas lamps.
TRAFFIC ALERT
We have received a report of a vehicle washed off the road near Worahsm Springs Road and Old Greenbrier Pike. MAP Initial reports indicate that individuals are trapped in the vehicle. Rescue units are currently en route to the scene. If travel is not essential, officials strongly advise staying home.
Robertson County Bus numbers 36 and 21 are with Robertson County EMS and the THP at 41A and Maxey Rd at the Shell station. Children are safe.
Despite rumors -We have zero reports of injuries and no fatalities, according to Robertson County EMS.

WEATHER REPORT UPDATE
Looks like the weather is scaling back to just rain for the next couple of hours and then expect intermittent spikes of severe storms until 3 AM.
ALL ROBERTSON COUNTY SCHOOL BUSES AND CHILDREN ARE SAFEROBERTSON COUNTY, SCHOOL Bus number 57 has taken shelter at the Robertson County EMS station on Central Avenue in Spfd. The children are safe.
Tornado on the Ground: I24 and Maxey Rd. First Responders headed that way. HEADING TOWARDS SPRINGFIELD.
Take shelter now in a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.

Tornado possibly developing with severe thunderstorm warning , Davidson/Robertson County until 2:45pm… affecting Goodlettsville/Southern tip of Robertson County along Hwy 41S
FLOODING ALERT
