ROBERTSON COUNTY TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Hold onto your steering wheel, it’s two nights of action-packed racing this weekend at Veterans Mortorplex at the Rim!
It all starts this FRIDAY Night at 7 pm (August 6th) with the World’s Fastest Short Track Cars, King of the Wing Sprint Cars and the USAC Speed 2 Eastern Midgets / Road Warriors hit the track!
Then, Saturday night August 7th racing will be a 50 lap late model, 50 lap sportsman, 30 lap ridge runner, 20 lap road warrior, 20 lap sohc dash for cash and $250 to win street drags. It’s two nights of fun for the entire family!

We expect lap times in the 11 second range which would be an ALL-TIME Track Speed record for Veterans Motorplex.

We expect the fastest laps ever to have been recorded here at Veterans Motorplex.
We currently have 18 High horsepower
King of the Wing Sprint cars confirmed to be here (with the possibility of up to 24 cars).

Grandstand Admission Adults: $25.00
Seniors Military: $20.00 and Students, Children under 12: $10.00
Ultimate Pit Pass to hang out with the drivers: $40 allows access to grandstands and pits
FREE Meet & Greet the Drivers and Crews on the Front Straightaway at Intermission
FREE Checkered Flag to each child through the Front Gate
ROAD WARRIOR feature winner will receive $100 plus a nice wrapped guitar.
Saturday Night August 7th

SATURDAY TICKETS…FAMILY PACK – $30 for 2 Adults and up to 6 minor children!
OR $12 for adults; $10 for seniors (62+), military and students 13-17; $5 for youth 6-12; 5 and under are free $35 for the pits.
Great Concessions, Kids Zone and FREE PARKING!
