ROBERTON COUNTY: (Smokey Barn News) – Anyone that has utilized the programs and services at the Robertson County UT Extension Office will know Ginny Neal. She’s been a critical part of their team since 1998. Now, after 23 years of service, Ginny’s retiring.

In an exclusive interview with Smokey Barn News, Ginny says she and her husband are entering a new chapter in their lives and are looking forward to traveling together.

For over 20 years Ginny has been the administrative backbone of the UT Extension Office in Robertson County in Springfield and, according to Ag Agent & County Director Jeff Smith, she will be difficult to replace.

“We’re going to miss her, we really appreciate her service to us and for the county,” Smith said. “She’s just a pleasure to be around, always happy and keeps the office going.”
