SPRINGFIELD, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – After an extensive search of local creeks (FULL STORY) officials believe they have found the remains of Apolinar (Polo) Sadierna-Garcia. In a release from the City of Springfield today, it was confirmed that suspected human remains were discovered in the area of North Main Street and Sulphur Creek during a search for Sadierna-Garcia. MAP

The remains were sent to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation for identification. Preliminary forensic analysis indicates that the remains are a likely match for Sadierna-Garcia, ‘Polo’ who was reported missing on June 12, from Springfield, Tennessee. The case remains an ongoing criminal investigation. No further details were released.

The disappearance of Sadierna-Garcia’s ‘Polo‘ was intertwined with a broader investigation into the homicide of another Springfield man, Carlos Camaja. Camaja’s body was discovered near the Robertson County/Montgomery County line back on June 11, one day before Polo was reported missing. The discovery led to the arrests of Celia Ramirez-Hernandez, 48, and Misael Cruz-Hernandez, 34, who both resided at the same Springfield address as Polo. FULL STORY

Celia Ramirez-Hernandez, identified as Camaja’s girlfriend, and her son, Misael Cruz-Hernandez, are facing charges including criminal homicide, criminal simulation, and tampering with evidence. They remain in custody without bond as the investigation continues.
