Obituary for Larry Eugene Stroup
Larry Eugene Stroup, 73, of Greenbrier, passed away on Saturday July 3, 2021, at Skyline Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Friday July 9th at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Greenbrier with Pastor Donnie Bryant and Pastor Gary Dillard officiating. A private family committal service will be held on Wednesday July 14th in the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors. Pallbearers will be Butch Savage, Jeremiah Pierce, Riley Putman, Terry Wilson, Wayne Dugger, Joe Taylor, Ken Campbell, and Ivan Bell. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of American Legion Post 45 and the VFW Post 2120 in Greenbrier. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Robertson County Funeral Home and on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the Calvary Baptist Church in Greenbrier.
Mr. Stroup was born November 1, 1947, in Paola, Kansas to the late Clare Francis and Marjorie Louise Griffith Stroup. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in Vietnam. Mr. Stroup was a retired accountant with Harris County in Houston, Texas and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Greenbrier. He was a member of the VFW Post 2120 and the American Legion Post 45, where he was a Past Commander, in Greenbrier. He was a former Alderman with the City of Greenbrier. Mr. Stroup was currently serving as Chaplain to the City of Greenbrier Police Department, as a board member with the Greenbrier Historical Society, as a member of the City of Greenbrier Planning and Zoning committee, and as a volunteer with the NorthCrest Auxiliary. He loved watching sports and watching his grandchildren play golf.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: David Stroup. Mr. Stroup is survived by his wife of 46 years: Joyce Carlson Stroup of Greenbrier, by his sons and daughters-in-law: Greg and Nid Carlson of Phuket, Thailand, Ben and Brooke Stroup of Greenbrier, by is aunt: Betty Griffith of Kansas, by his grandchildren: Carter and Caden Stroup, and by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Obituary for Jesse Newton Gainous
Jesse Newton Gainous, 90, of Greenbrier, passed away on Saturday July 3, 2021, at St. Thomas Midtown. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday July 8th at 10:00 a.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Reverend Ralph Carter and Reverend Brent Crabtree officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Michael “Mikey” Sanders, Troy Reid, Tyler Reid, Billy White, Eddie Cope, and Calvin Cothron serving as pallbearers. Chester Birdwell will serve as an honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Mr. Gainous was born September 11, 1930, in Adairville, Kentucky to the late Tolley Newton and Jessie Geneva Hardaway Gainous. He was a retired fleet manager with Coca Cola in Nashville. Mr. Gainous was a founding member of Ridgetop First Baptist Church, where he sung in the choir, taught Sunday School, and served as a deacon. He was also a member of the Springfield Gideons. Mr. Gainous loved quail hunting, riding his tractor, and raising Black Angus beef cattle. He had a great love of music and enjoyed playing his guitar, dulcimer, mandolin, and writing and singing songs. He lived his life being kind to all his fellow man. He had a saying, that he wrote in his Bible so that he could remind himself of it each day that said: “Kindness is the oil that takes the friction out of life”.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Fred and Joe Gainous. Mr. Gainous is survived by his wife of 71 years: Sylvia Draughon Gainous of Greenbrier, by his son and daughter-in-law: James and Regina Gainous of Greenbrier, by his daughter and son-in-law: Julia Arlene and Kenneth Warren of Ridgetop, by his sisters: Margaret Sowell of Auburn, KY, and Mamie Hester of Springfield, by his grandchildren: Christy Baldwin, Jamie Reid, Shea Sanders, and Michael “Mikey” Sanders, by his 5 great grandchildren, and by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Joyce Clinard Jones, 81, of Cross Plains, passed from this life on Friday July 2, 2021, at her home. Funeral services will be conducted Monday July 12th at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Waldrop officiating. Interment will follow in the Cross Plains Cemetery with Kerry Clinard, David Clinard, Kevin Clinard, Chris Villines, Chet Claborn, and Bill Swearingen serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Brad Villines, Jay Groves, Logan Dean, and Brandon Clinard. The family will receive friends on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Jones was born May 27, 1940, in Sango to the late Clyde Clifford and Laura Mae Rainwater Clinard. She was a graduate of East Robertson High School Class of 1959. Mrs. Jones was a retired cafeteria worker at East Robertson High School and was a member of the Cross Plains United Methodist Church. She loved gardening and working in her flowers, watching the game show network, cooking, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Royce Wayne Jones, by her daughter: Sonya Gaye Jones Cherry, and by her siblings: Peggy Ann Murphy, Virginia Kay Clinard, and Clifford Clinard.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her sons: Jeffrey Wayne, Michael Todd, and Cory Allen Jones all of Cross Plains, by her brothers: Jewell Thomas Clinard of Cross Plains, Wayne Clinard and wife Darlene of Springfield, by her sister: Betty Jean Clinard Villines and husband Jimmy of Cross Plains, by her grandchildren: Richard Bronson and Chasidy Gayle Forewright, and by her great grandchildren: Mario Cogshell, Marianna Cogshell, Kiela Forewright, and Bronson Forewright.

Howard David Pulley, Jr., 73, of Springfield, passed away on Sunday July 4, 2021, at Skyline Medical Center. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Bubba Kiningham, Dan Rader, Fred Head, Wayne Richard, Jasper Blackburn, and Larry Butram. Mr. Pulley was born March 24, 1948, in Springfield to the late Howard David and Nell Fletcher Pulley, Sr. He was a graduate of Madison High School, was a retired machinist with John Bouchard & Sons, in Nashville, was a member of Barren Plains Baptist Church, and a member of the Machinist Workers Union. Mr. Pulley enjoyed playing golf, watching car racing, and especially enjoyed being at home and working in his yard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son: Steven Wayne Andress, and by his brother: John William Pulley.
Mr. Pulley is survived by his wife of 43 years, Debbie Bilbrey Pulley of Springfield, by his daughter: Shannon Rhea Dillehay and husband Scott of Ridgetop, by his son: Todd Michael Pulley of Greenbrier, by his grandchildren: Camryn and Benjamin Dillehay, Kyle and Davis Pulley, by his brother: Don Pulley of Springfield, and by his sisters: Donna Smith, Cindy Joyce and husband Harold all of Springfield.

Sue was born November 28, 1945, in Springfield to the late Odell and Bertie Bell Blackburn Watts. She was a graduate of Greenbrier High School Class of 1963. Sue was a retired registration clerk with NorthCrest Medical Center, and she attended Flewellyn Baptist Church. Sue enjoyed traveling, watching westerns and reality TV shows, and going out to eat with her family and friends. Her family was her life, and she was always involved with whatever her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were doing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Frank Hutton. Sue is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Denise and Kurt Nelson of Clarksville, Pam and John Hunter of Springfield, Dawn and Chuck Browning of Springfield, and by her 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Obituary for Joyce Ann Williams
Joyce Ann Jones Williams, age 69, of Bowling Green, KY passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021 at the Waters of Robertson in Springfield, TN.
Funeral services will be at 1pm on Thursday, July 8th at Austin & Bell Funeral Home Greenbrier with Bro. Bob Filson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenbrier Cemetery with Houston Ivy, Blake Parris, Hunter Bilyeu, Austin Bilyeu, J C Traughber, Boo Jones and Tommy Weaver serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends 4pm to 8pm on Wednesday July 7th and 11am until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
Joyce was born in Springfield, TN on June 17, 1952 to the late James Calvin and Geraldine Parker Hulsey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Vaughn Williams and a brother, Jimmy Jones.
She was a receptionist at TN Oncology and a member of Goodlettsville Church of the Nazarene.
She loved watching her grandkids play ball no matter how far she had to go. She was an avid sports fan, especially of the Atlanta Braves. She also loved going on trips with her church to various destinations.
She is survived by children, Bryan (Kat) Williams and daughter, Jennifer (Josh Dupre) Spengel ; sister, Charlotte (Ronnie) Weaver; brothers, Donny (Angela) Jones, Ronny (Barbara) Jones, Larry (the late Carol) Jones; grandchildren, Houston Ivy, Blake Parris, Stephanie Clark, Hunter Bilyeu, Kassie Williams, Austin Bilyeu, Zoe’ Williams and great-grandchild, Oaklynn Clark.

Andrew Thomas “Skip” Trotter of Greenbrier. TN, age 76, born Sept 9, 1944, died July 2, 2021 preceded in death by his daughter Andrea Sheay Trotter of Knoxville Tn, his parents James John and Ethel Trotter, and his brother James Robert Trotter of Goodlettsville, TN.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years Patricia Lassiter Trotter of Greenbrier TN, his sisters Sylvia Rochuba of Ocean Springs MS and Barbara Jane Puckett of Goodlettsville TN, several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at NHC in Springfield TN and Alive Hospice of Nashville TN for their loving care.

Aubreita Jean Shanes, age 88, a longtime resident of Hendersonville, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren dearly. She loved sewing, crafting, quilting, loved to dance, loved to hunt in her younger years and just loved life in general.
Mrs. Shanes was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Harold Shanes; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa “Cricket” and Alan Burroughs; brothers, Ronald K. Waggoner and Donald Ray Waggoner; and a great grandson, Matthew Taylor.
She is survived by her children, Brenda (Johnny) Allen, Teresa (James) Wilson, Joel (Dawn) Shanes, and Jerry (Tammy) Shanes; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and a sister, Carrie (Jerry) Morris.
The family will receive friends from 4:00pm until 8:00pm on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Hendersonville. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 1:00pm Monday, July 12, 2021 in the funeral home chapel with David Swanger officiating. Burial will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Obituary for Robert Owen Littlejohn
Robert Owen Littlejohn, passed away on May 27th, 2021, at age 69 in Nashville, TN. He was surrounded by family at the hour of his passing and went in peace to the Lord.
He was born on July 18th, 1951, in Dover, TN. He is survived by his wife Tamara Littlejohn which he shared 24 years together and his mother Nina Wallace. He had retired from a lifetime of over the road truck driving. He spent his retired years fishing, cooking out, and laughing at his grandchildren.
He is also survived by his brothers: Charles (Jr.) (Kathy) Littlejohn, Jeffery (Shonda)Wallace, Michael Wallace, and sister Sheila Wallace Dorris. He is now the guardian angel of his sons: Robert Jr. (Anita) Littlejohn, Jason (Tonya) Littlejohn, Nick (Kristin) French, Tommy Golliher, and his daughter Misty (Francisco) French-Hernandez. He will forever remain in memory as Grandpa/ Poppaw to Michele (Josh) Moreland, Alan (Beth) Littlejohn, Kaylin (Jarred) Barefoot, Matthew (Lexie) Littlejohn, Madelyn (Ryan) Richardson, Jackson Dycus, Jacob French-Hernandez, Jaydan French-Hernandez, Jayly “Lil Girl” French-Hernandez, and Rowan French. He also will watch over from above his beautiful great-grandchildren Addie Rae Moreland and Samuel Robert Littlejohn. He was loved and will be missed by many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Charles Sam Littlejohn Sr., his brother Jackie Littlejohn, and his sister Joyce Weaver.
He requested no funeral services in lieu of a celebration of life to be held privately with friends and family on July 25th, 2021.

Austin Daniel Brown “Aus”, age 19, of Adams, Tennesseee, formerly of Wapella, Illinois passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021 at his home.
He graduated from Aaron Academy high school online in 2020 and started working for Kroger. He aspired to go to trade school to be an electrician. He was an avid gamer and taught himself to play the guitar.
As we reflect back on his memories of his time with us, we are reminded of his sarcasm and love for sweets. You could always find a snack and a good laugh in his company.
He is survived by his parents, Christopher and Crystal Brown of Adams, Tennessee; sister, Rebbeca Brown of Cedar City, Utah; paternal grandparents, John and Teri Brown of Hallsville, Illinois; and maternal grandparents, Eddie and Bonnie Merida of Wapella, Illinois.
Private services will be held for the immediate family. They have decided to memorialize him through cremation.

Billy Dean Hampton, Sr., age 73 of Greenbrier, died Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at The Waters of Springfield.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, July 2, 2021 at 3:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapel with Rev. Jerry Heflin officiating. Burial followed in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Tyler Clouse, Joe Sartan, Donnie Baggett, Chris Jones, Zack Jones, Lonnie Hampton, and Ronnie Hampton serving as pallbearers. The family received friends at the funeral home Thursday from 4 until 8 PM and Friday from 1 PM until the hour of service.
Mr. Hampton was born June 14, 1948 in Springfield to the late John L. and Evelyn Dunavin Hampton. He was a veteran of the United States Marines. He was a retired truck driver with Dean Oil Company. He loved to watch Atlanta Braves baseball and University of Tennessee football, and watching westerns. He liked to hunt and fish and in his later years loved to play golf. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Sharon Moses Hampton.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Billy Dean and Jennifer Hampton, Jr. of Greenbrier; brothers, Terry Hampton of Clarksville and Harold Hampton of Greenbrier; sister, Shirley Hampton of Greenbrier; grandsons, Billy Dean Hampton III of Springfield and Landry Hampton of Greenbrier; and great grandchildren, Cassidy, Bronson, Ethan, and Easton Hampton, all of Cedar Hill.

Terry “Michael” Scarbrough, age 57 of Ashland City, Tennessee, died Friday, July 2, 2021 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.

Michael was born on November 5, 1963 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Johnny Merle & Robbie Jo Kilpatrick Scarbrough. He has worked in construction for over 20 years at Tenant Building Group in Nashville.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Darrell Scarbrough.
He is survived by a son, Matthew Scarbrough; daughter, Brittany (Donald) Cramer; brothers, Anthony (Rhonda) Scarbrough, Steve Scarbrough; sister, Sonja (Kevin) Marks; and grandchildren, Kaiden and Hudson Cramer.

Obituary for Martha Lee Leek Ralph
Nora Martha Leek Ralph, age 87, of Springfield, died on Friday, July 2, 2021 at the Springfield Heights Assisted Living. Martha was born on April 25, 1934 in Robertson County, Tennessee to the late James Marshall and Nannie Mae Williams Leek. She was a retired bookkeeper for Conwood Tobacco Company and a member of Woodland Street United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing bridge with her friends and loved working in her Iris bed.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ralph (1986); grandson, Nathan Ralph; sisters, Jewel Jakes and Nellie Simpkins; brother, James Leek.
Martha is survived by her son, Bob Ralph of Adams, Tennessee; daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Richard Johnson of Madison, Alabama; sister, Mary Bass of Florida; grandchildren, Allen Ralph of Nashville and Ethan and wife Morgan Ralph of Springfield; great-grandchildren, Hadley and Harrison Ralph.
There will be a celebration of life that will be announced at a later date this month.

Funeral services were held at 1 pm on Saturday July 3, 2021 in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Elmwood Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 am till the hour of service at 1 pm.
Mr. Cox was born October 29, 1936 in Springfield to the late Clarence Washington Cox and Martha Catherine Wildmone Cox. A son, Bobby Glenn Cox, grandson, Jeremy Mink, brother, Clifford Cox and sisters Martha Mink and Louise Rippy also preceded him in death. He was a retired forklift operator with Ford Glass Plant, a member of the UAW and loved horses and flying in airplanes.
Surviving him are his wife, Shirley Hulsey Cox of Springfield; son, Jeff Cox of Springfield; daughters, Cindy Hundley of Nashville and Connie Cox of Florida; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronnie and Judy Cox of Greenbrier and Ricky and Janet Cox of Springfield; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sue and George Rogers of Orlinda, Tennessee and Cheryl and Don Blankenship of Clarksville, Tennessee; four great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

Mary Ellen Morris Pitt, 91, of Springfield, passed away on Sunday June 27, 2021, at NHC Healthcare in Springfield.
A private family graveside service was conducted Friday July 2nd in the Bethlehem Cemetery with her son, Brother Chuck Pitt, officiating. Family members served as pallbearers. There was no public visitation.
Mrs. Pitt was born December 29, 1929, in Nashville to the late Sim and Madge Burchett Morris. She was retired from the lunch counter at Springfield Drugs and was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ. Mrs. Pitt enjoyed reading, watching TV, cooking, listening to country music, and Square Dancing. She was preceded in death by her sisters: Joanne Harris and Margaret Marks, and by her grandson: Michael Pitt.
Mrs. Pitt is survived by her daughter: Debbie Wooden of Springfield, by her sons: Randy Pitt of Greenbrier, Chuck Pitt of Goodlettsville, Phillip Pitt of Franklin, KY, and Jeff Pitt of Springfield, and by her 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

The family received friends on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Kelsey was born October 24, 1997, in Springfield. She was a graduate of Springfield High School Class of 2016, where she was a member of the Beta Club. Kelsey worked as a claims adjuster for Quality Resource Management in White House, and she attended Grace Baptist Church in Springfield. She loved Elephants, riding horses, crafts, and her family. The highlight of her life was her daughter, Kaisley, and she was an excellent mother that loved her daughter very much. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Sherry Thaxton, Dennis Wix, and Jesse Pentecost.
Kelsey is survived by her daughter: Kaisley Thaxton of Springfield, by her mother: Jessica Knight of Springfield, by her father and stepmother: Darrell and Tina Thaxton of Springfield, by her brother: Dalton Thaxton of Springfield, by her sister: Alayna Knight of Springfield, and by her grandparents: Dianne Eads of Springfield, Wayne Thaxton of Greenbrier, Randy and Tina Ellis of Springfield, and Lisa Kimberly of Adams.

Obituary for Ruby Klausner
Ruby Pearl Klausner, age 95, of Greenbrier, has gone to be with her Lord and Savior on June 27, 2021.
Ruby played women’s professional softball in the 1940’s during WWII. She worked alongside her husband in the printing business. Her greatest role was her service as a preacher’s wife and prayer warrior alongside her late husband Rev. Bill Klausner for over 40 years. They served in the state of Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee.
She was a devoted wife and mother and survived by sons Craig and Stephen Klausner; daughter-in-laws, Barbara and Mae Klausner; granddaughter Mandi and husband Jason Carter; grandsons, Wesley C. Stephen M. and William C. Klausner and granddaughter Stephanie Klausner and any other beloved family members and friends.
Memorial service will be held at Trinity Church of the Nazarene,1253 Vultee Boulevard Nashville, TN 37217 on Friday July 9, 2021 at 5pm. In lieu of flowers the family has asked for pictures and to share your encounter with the Klausner family.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Cindy Lee Wiser passed away peacefully on June 27, 2021 at 72 years old surrounded by her loving children. Cindy leaves this Earth having lived a life full of laughter and love. Her passion for story-telling was only surpassed by her love of family.
Cindy is survived by her two children, Timothy (Tim) W. Moore (wife: Amy) of Potomac, MD and Tammy Renee (Renee) Bivens of Hendersonville, TN; and her three grandchildren (Christian, Audrey and Davis), all of whom love their Nana.

Michael “Mike” Wayne Mangrum, age 72 of Nashville, Tennessee, died Saturday, June 26, 2021 at TriStar Ashland City Medical Center.

Mr. Mangrum was born on February 19, 1949 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Charles & Mary Virginia Roberts Mangrum. He was retired as a Landfill Director for Cheatham County. Mike was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and loved & supported all veterans. His spiritual place was Harpeth River State Park Mound Bottom.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Charlie Mangrum, Jr.
Survivors include his daughters, Georgiana Peach (fiancé, Corey Head) and Nikki Roach; brother, James (Lynn) Mangrum; sisters, Eva Lehey and Joyce (Malcom) Furlough; and three grandchildren, Kayla, Abbie, & Raylon.

John Hazey Price, 84, of Greenbrier, passed away on Monday June 21, 2021, at Stoneridge Health Care in Ridgetop.

Mr. Price was born on January 31, 1937, in Clay County to the late Benton and Lucy Crawford Price. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Price was a retired machine operator with MacMillan Bloedel and was a member of the Steelworkers Union Local 4802. He attended Hillcrest Church of Christ. Mr. Price loved music, especially playing his guitar. He enjoyed family gatherings and spending time in music and fellowship with each other. One of his favorite pastimes was going to Rivergate Mall to “people watch”.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by the love of his life, his wife, Emma Josephine McCreary Price, by his daughter: Donna Jo Hodges, and by his brothers: Hosey, Hobert, Hovey, and Bill Price. Mr. Price is survived by his daughter and son-in-law: Treva and Wade Garrison of Cedar Hill, by his sons and daughter-in-law: Wayne and Holly Price of Greenbrier, Greg Hodges of Greenbrier, and by his 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.

Joyce Jean Hummel, age 88, of Hermitage, passed away Monday, June 7, 2021 at Bethany Health and Rehab Center in Nashville. She was an avid cook and baker, and loved to shop and travel, and enjoyed NASCAR. Jean was a devout Richard Petty and Tom Jones fan.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Don Nelson Hummel; and a daughter, Jacqueline Hummel.

Obituary for James E. Randall
James Edward Randall was born December 14, 1935, in Terrell, Texas to the late Curtis Randall and Mary Randall. This earthly life came to an end on June 17, 2021, as he went home to be with the Lord.
He professed a hope in Christ at a young age and united with Antioch Baptist Church in Chicago, Illinois. He later moved to Springfield, TN and united with Greater South Baptist Church where he faithfully worshipped.
James was employed with National Business List as a shipping supervisor, Sweetheart Cup Company as a machine operator and later became owner/operator of Checker Cab Company, all in Chicago, Illinois. Upon moving to Springfield, TN he was employed with Electrolux.
“Jim” as he was affectionately called, enjoyed doing self-repairs as he could fix almost anything. He loved barbecuing for family and friends. He kept a manicured yard to entertain family and friends in while playing cards. He also loved traveling with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother; two sisters; and one daughter.
“Jim” leaves to cherish his memories: loving and devoted wife, Rebecca Randall; children: Daniel L. Walker, Frederick D. Walker, Carrie Bailiff, Nanetta (Paul) Walker-Mrus, Jamie Brownlee, and Jamell A. (Darine) Randall; sister, Doris Randall; brother, Micial Blackmon; thirteen grandchildren: Tracy, Troy, Melvin, Jordan, Joshua, Justin, A.J., Desirae, Sharee, Jana, Darell, Tamika, and Marla; a host of great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends; and special friends, Donald (Myra) Burnett.

She enjoyed football, non-stop shopping, buying name brand purses, especially Michael Kors. Jennie loved to travel. Her happy place was the beach. She loved spending time with her family and friends most of all, and was one of the most generous people in the world. She had been attending White House First Baptist Church.

Bowen “Bo” Walter Hinkle, Jr., age 69 of Hendersonville, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021. He was a loving and caring person who never met a stranger. Bo had a tremendous sense of humor. He loved listening to Vern Gosdin and watching old Westerns over and over again. Bo loved his grandbabies and loved letting them do whatever their parents said no to. He loved Bud Light and begging for Bloody Mary’s. Bo loved Bull Dozers and cowboy boots.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Gail Hinkle; parents, Bowen and Gert Hinkle; brothers, Jerry and Terry Hinkle and his sister Judy Hancock.

Virginia Evelyn Hunt, age 79 of Franklin, Tennessee, formerly of Ashland City, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at the Waters of Springfield.
Graveside services were conducted at EverRest of Cheatham in Pleasant View at 11:00AM on Friday, June 25th, with Bro. Garvin Claiborne officiating. Burial followed with Matt Pope, William Pope, Sterling Hunt, Wesley Head, Troy Head, Andy Daniel, Jackson Daniel, Mitch Kizer, and David Finch serving as pallbearers.
There was no public visitation at the funeral home prior to the graveside service.
Mrs. Hunt was born on October 31, 1941 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Lovell & Reba Murphy Stone. She was in the banking system for over 45 years. She loved watching her Atlanta Braves and was of the Church of Christ faith.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Frances Stone.

Age 76 of White House went home to be with the Lord Monday, June 21, 2021 at his home. He was born October 7, 1944 in Athens, GA to James Oscar Applewhite, II and Miriam Beckwith Applewhite. He worked as a civil engineer for TVA until his retirement. Mr. Applewhite proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Hendersonville.
