Two Found Dead Following Residential Fire, TBI On Scene

PLEASANT VIEW TENNESSE: (Smokey Barn News) – Two people were found dead inside of a home following a residential structure fire in Robertson County Monday Morning and the TBI has taken over the scene.

The home is located in the 1900 block of Errel Dowlen Rd carrying a Pleasant View address. MAP. The first call came into 911 a 9:03 am.

The Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department, the White House Community Volunteer Fire Department, the Robertson County Emergency Management Agency, the Tennessee Bureau Of Investigation, and the Coopertown Police Department all responded to the scene.

According to Robertson County EMS, two adult victims, a man and a woman were found inside the home. Both were transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office.

This is a developing story, as soon as we have more information we will update this report.

UPDATE 2/8/22: According to the TBI, the identities of the two individuals found in the home are still being confirmed through autopsies. Once that is complete and next of kin have been notified, the TBI will release the identities of the individuals.

UPDATE 2/11/22: The TBI is now releasing more information following a structure fire that led to the discovery of two deceased individuals inside of a Pleasant View home on Monday. According to the TBI, “The investigation into the fire remains active and ongoing, but preliminary results do not indicate foul play was involved.” For more information and the identities of the two victims see our FULL REPORT
