Millersville Police Seek Gunmen After Violent Coffee-House Robbery

MILLERSVILLE TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Around 2:30pm Monday afternoon two armed men entered the Authentic Coffee Shop in Millersville and demanded money.

According to Millersville police the call came in around 2:40pm that the coffee shop, located at 1650 Hwy 31W, MAP  had been robbed at gunpoint by two men.

Police say the two gunmen entered the business and pointed a gun at a clerk and a customer inside the store and demanded money. During the robbery, one of the men grabbed the 18 year old clerk from behind as both the clerk and customer were ordered to go the restroom.

The thieves stole and undisclosed amount of money, two cell phones and a small safe from the store.

Millersville Police describe the two men as one black male wearing black shorts, a dark colored shirt and dark shoes with a white rag or shirt tied around his head. The second suspect is described only as a Hispanic or possibly white male.

Millersville Police told Smokey Barn News that they do not believe that the manhunt from earlier in the day is in any way connected to this robbery. Millersville Manhunt FULL STORY

Owner Jeff Munday says nothing like this has happened in the seven years he has owned the business and he is very pleased that no one was hurt.

Customer Rick Peyton was inside when the two men entered the business and provides a chilling account of the violent robbery.

Police said the two men escaped in a white 4 door sedan; possibly a Volvo with some damage to the driver side door.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspects is asked to contact police.
